Disgusting..........but cool?

so as most of you know, im homeschooled......sorta. i do an online schooling.

anyways, the school sets up field trips for all the students to attend to if they want but we have to go to at least 3 i think.

so tomorrow, they are having a field trip at a gross anatomy lab to see and investigate a disected "real" human body! i mean. its a "real person" that died and they cut the body open and we get to go look at it tomorrow! im relly exctied but kinda grossed out at the same time! i mean, i dont wanna see a human body! but i think its kinda cool i get to go see a human body cut up. i mean, how many 13 year olds get to see the inside of an actual human body?

thoughts?

*oh yeah, and they'll cover the face so we cant see the person and the'll give us masks do to the strong smell.*

oh no, no, no. its already disected. we just are looking at it. its like a tour. trust me, i would never cut a human body! that'd be too freaky! like the person who is dead donated their body to the university for things like this.

My Grandpa was deputy coroner,it's a tough job.
I couldn't work around death all day,I respect those who do,they're really strong.

Whenever we go to a funeral. I am always up there staring at the body. I think it is interesting how the body destroys itself after its "use" in the world is done.

That is what makes me think there is "something" beyond.

My worst fear is that we just don't exist anymore. It is just like you fall asleep forever.

Are bodies don't make us who we are. Our souls do....

Can you please tell me how you get disrespectful out of this? This is obviously a person who willingly donated their body to science/study so children and adults alone could learn more about human anatomy. I don't see it as disrespectful at all.

I think it would be cool-ish. I have a best friend who would be compeletly jealous. I think it'd be cool to look in a body just to see what the parts look like but... I don't know... I don't really want to go into that field I guess.

I have a friend, he wants to be a doctor. He works in a lab doing dissections.

I could show you some of his pictures if you want. So you know what you're going to see.

Its not gross at all. Its totally fascinating. And you'll get used to the smell after awhile. I'd kill to see my friend, frank, in work.

Hilary, the person had it in their will that they wanted to be donated to science when they die. There's nothing wrong with it. It's what the person wanted. Now, if the family did it without the dead person's "permission", then it'd be disrespectful.
