Hi all today well at D.C. we saw a family with EMH bands and disney crocks and that made me so sad finnally relizing Disney was done I'm sorry we didnt make it to the meets it ttly slipped my mind i didnt remember until we were walking around AK during the EMH. Sounds like we all had wonderful trips

For those of you who did Kali Rapids, were you as dissapointed as I was? I mean AK is always the hottest park, and I was looking forward to getting drenched by the waterfall at the end, well the end of the ride came, and the waterfall turned into a little drizzle..................

You were probably on the wrong side then. I got pretty wet! But I was disappointed in how short it was. I have 2 brief videos of us going by on the ride but you'll just have to wait to see it in my TR...

The waterfall on the end used to get EVERYONE drentched...... Now it just sprinkles a little water on you.........

We felt stupid as the two teenage girls next to us got soaked, we kept telling them not to worry as the waterfall would take care of the rest of the raft............

Will be at POP 7/26 - 8/5. No set plans. I'm traveling with my niece who is turning 9 on 7/26. We're just going to play it by ear and have lots of fun. CAN'T WAIT!

No that was from the down part. We had some people from Scotland who were trying to get wet as they could from the waterfall or the jets that spray water.

Since I've only been on Kali once, I'm not sure what the waterfall is. I got very wet on the part that is the big drop. I was faced in the right position, I guess. That was the only spot that people got really wet from what I could tell...

At the end when you go under a tunnel, there used to be a waterfall at the enterance. Now it is just more like a drizzle

rags I got soaked on that ride and hubby got abit soaked also, but my kids and the other four people in the boat did not get wet.

Last year, Bob got SO DRENCHED, it was amazing! Totally soaked to the bones. Then, we went into "Lion King", with the air conditioning BLASTING, and I thought he was going to catch pneumonia!

This year, we braced for it - and it wasn't nearly as bad! We thought maybe we just got "lucky"!

When we went on we got extremely soaked but we were in the good side we were drinched for hour and it felt good

Cathy- I think I saw you a few times in WDW- I believe I reconize your daughter in the Belle dress with glasses. I believe I saw her a couple of times- I wish I had known it was you

That's the problem with Kali, it's only the 2 who go down the hill backwards that get soaked. If your ever is DCA go on Grizzly River Run EVERYONE gets drenched

I most definitely want to get out to California some time. I have so much family out there. And they are only about an hour away from Disneyland!!!!

We love DL. Probably more so as it was our first Disney trip as a family. It's more quaint than MK and much more easier to get around. A big plus is DCA is a short walk across from MK

They also tend to have alot better deals than WDW. We're definitely going back.
