We had an exciting/scary night last night...about 9 we were at Wal-mart and Paul said "you wouldn't hurt right here on your shoulder (left) if you were having a heart attack would you?"...um yes you would! Then he was having a pain like he had never had before and his left arm & hand were tingly. So I immediately told him that we were going to the hospital and asked him which one he wanted to go to. We were at Wal-Mart in 2 cars so we all loaded in mine and headed to the hospital that is only 5 mins from the house. A friend came and picked up the girls for me around 10. They did an EKG and bloodwork to check for cardiac enzymes. THANKFULLY they were both OK and the doc said that this did not appear to be a cardiac event then. He said that there are a lot of things that can cause chest pain but also that the bloodwork is not 100% accurate. So he wants him to follow up with his regular doc. Then I told him that we were going to Disney in less than 2 weeks and he told him to follow up with his regular doc on Monday. So he is probably in for a stress test and other things before we go.

I'm sure if someone was listening to us they would have thought we were crazy...here he was in the ER for chest pain, hooked up to a bp cuff, an oxygen saturation monitor and all those contacts on his chest for constant monitoring and we were talking about him riding Rock N Rollecoaster, Test Track, Splash, Big Thunder, Space...etc.

For all of you that pray please pray for him...it really scared both of us and our girls!

Yikes! I'm so sorry you had to go through that! Sounds like a tough night. Please let us know what his doctor says. I'll keep your family in my prayers.

Hey Kari, I noticed ya'll will be at MK on the 22nd. We will be there that morning until around noon. I'll bee stalking you.
Did you load up on the tiki kingdom shirts at Disney Store? I got the boys the tiki Mickey and tiki Captain Jack Sparrows and Chris the tiki Grumpy. I didn't find any tiki ones that I liked in my size, so I got the Hawaiian Minnie Mouse one. Then I had to buy the boys the hawaiian Mickeys.

Wynn and Tucker got the surfin Mickey, and Avery and I got Tiki Minnie and Tink (not Tiki) Wynn got Tiki Big Bad Wolf, and Tucker Tiki Buzz.

I'll be watching for you on the 22nd! My guess is we will be around Fantasyland or Adventureland. We generally eat lunch at Cosmic Rays when we are there.

Oh yeah! I remember Wynn. His was the one I slept with so I could meet the band! Uhm.....I NEVER EVER DID THAT!!

How scary! I'm glad everything looked fine. FYI... when you think you are having a heart attack, you are supposed to make yourself cough forcefully until you get to the hospital, or until an ambulance arrives. The coughing constircts the muscles of the chest, and forces the heart to pump. They say you can prevent brain damage that way, and even stay alert if you have to drive yourself to the hospital. We will definitely keep you all in our prayers.

Put my mom up there on the list to. She left yesterday morning at 9am and at 3pm she called and said that she was broke down in Greenville, SC. Her Cadelilic? Converter went out on her(has to do with the muffler). She found a great repair shop, the owner checked out the car and will fix it for her on Monday til then she is stuck in SC til they fix the car. The owner also took her to a nice hotel and the hotel is giving her a great rate for the room because of her troubles.

I'll probably be wearing my new lime green Tink shirt I ordered from Disney online, and the boys will be wearing their tiki Capn' Jacks (who knows about what Chris will wear) so be lookin' for us! We'll probably be in Fantasyland too first thing in the morning before it gets crazy!

Okay..I'm not that old! I remember watching reruns of Spin & Marty. Wasn't Tim Considine on that? I didn't know they were reruns when I was a kid and I thought he was the cutest. Just like I didn't know that Brady Bunch were repeats and I had the biggest crush on Peter (ew, now!)

I'm not THAT OLD either! I watched Spin & Marty in reruns. But, I DID watch Brady Bunch on Friday evenings, not in reruns. Does THAT make me old??? (45 this August. Yikes!)

Sonya, that is terrible! I hope Paul feels better and it was something as simple as indigestion, or a pulled muscle. This morning at 5am an ambulance stopped next door at our elderly neighbors. I ran over to the lawn to see if I was needed to call a family member, but the policeman came over to me and said eveything was ok - Mr. was going to the hospital, but it didn't look too serious. I couldn't go back to sleep after that.

What a whirlwind of a week! Dana competed in her first Horse Show today and came in 5th place in the "Walk/Trot/Half Seat 2 Cross Rail" event. (Say THAT three times fast...lol) There were 14 participants in her category and they gave ribbons to 1st through 6th place. She was SO excited! (How funny is this: horses were assigned "luck of the draw". guess what her horse's name was? MICKEY! )
Need to finish up this week of school and then GET READY FOR DISNEY!!

Wow- so much to catch up on and so little time!

As of a few hours ago, we are completely moved into our new house! Tonight is our first night to sleep here and I'm so excited! We are exhausted. I mean I don't think my legs and feet have ever hurt this bad in my life.... I'm just glad it's over! And next week we are going to Disney!!!!!

I live about 10-15 min. from G'ville SC. I'm in Easley. It's really not a bad place. I shop in G'ville all the time. And my DH is a state trooper here. I would go check on her for you tomorrow but I'm working all day. I've got 3 more working days til Disney. Rest assured your mom will be fine. I'll pray for her. I'm sure it's been rough on her.

Thank you so much Renee... We are truly blessed to be in this home and the process couldn't have gone smoother--- there are so many things that could have gone wrong, but nothing did. We were being taken care of.... And I know that we will have wonderful memories made in this house! I'm excited to see all the things that will happen!!!!!!

Hopefully your baby stuff will sell...baby stuff just doesn't sell at garage sales around here. We had a REALLY nice baby swing that we tried to sell for $10 it didn't sell in ours so we asked our neighbor to put it in hers the next week for $5 and it still didn't sell!! I just save all of baby stuff and kids clothes to sell at one of our local semi-annual kid's consignment sales. I get rid of it and make money for Disney too

I think that the people that buy the baby things are mostly either the grandparents shopping for their own home who don't want to buy new and people that just cannot affort brand new. I did have someone offer to buy our double stroller for $50 and we were so excited. She picked out a bunch of other things and asked me to hold them because they were going to the NYS Fair. I said sure and wouldn't you know that they never ever came back? I was totally p*ssed! No more saving unless they pay up front!
