Yeah, I have a handful of lime green mickey heads, I offered them to Scilla, she looked at me like I had two heads and said "why would I want paint samples?"

Yes, you're really going to have to turn her on to the DIS way of life! I'm not sure I could marry someone who didn't understand the significance of paint samples! (J/K, of course, since I already did )

Why did everyone choose this time to go to Disney?

I of course didn't have much of a choice as Scilla picked the wedding date, so we had to go off of that

Here's how I came to pick the last week of June for our trip. When I came home from Disney at the end of January I knew I needed to plan another trip to get me out of my funk. I had already taken Antonia out of school for 2 Disney trips this school year so I didn't want to do that again. And I wanted to go to the World as soon as possible. Soooo, we're leaving the day after her last day of school!

Normally this wouldn't be my pick for time of the year to go, and I'm a little nervous about the heat and crowds, but hey, I'll be at Disney! And like DM said, if I hadn't chosen this time, I wouldn't have been able to get to know all you other wonderful end of Juners!

I really do not have much of say of when we go because DBF's family coordinates the days...I just said I can't go August because of student teaching. Plus in June DBF and I get to spend our 5 year anniversary at MK!

Seriously, don't waste your money, wait for the DVD. Unless you really like to see some of the scenes that kinda lose something when you watch it at home.

We chose June because we originally had thought that ds' surgeries would be done by now or we would be in the middle of them so it would either be a "Yay we're done" or a "we're half way there" trip but it turns out its a "boy our next three months are gonna really suck". hehe. Besides, its his fifth birthday and we never would have thought we'd get to this point so it is a celebration in and of itself. Now we will also be planning our next trip for Jan. '09 when Danae hits five. LOL

Hey everyone. The reason we picked June was because when we went on the now infamous Oblivia trip in November, we needed a do over, so we decided to go for our anniversary in July. But then, so many people said DON'T GO IN JULY! that we moved it up a few weeks. I would have moved it up more, but I also had to work around when I could ge the great teacher discount at the Swan. So I am really glad it all worked out the way it did since I met all of you great Dis stalkers!
Camera update! I am taking back my cheap crappy camera today and I have ordered a Nikon Coolpix, thanks to Renee's advice and the good reviews I have read about it online. I found a 7.2 mega pixel with image stabilization for $188 online at WalMart! Yay! I am so excited. Can't wait til it gets here so I can play with it before the trip.

On June 30th (the day we get back)1/2 the house is being knocked down. The kids & I are moving out for the summer. It was suppossed to be knocked down while we were away but DH is too worried something will go wrong & wants to be here. I'll give you the schedule today. I'm worried it doesn't match with any meets now.

Camera update! I am taking back my cheap crappy camera today and I have ordered a Nikon Coolpix, thanks to Renee's advice and the good reviews I have read about it online. I found a 7.2 mega pixel with image stabilization for $188 online at WalMart! Yay! I am so excited. Can't wait til it gets here so I can play with it before the trip.

That is wonderful! I seriously don't know how I survived without my digital camera! Mine also has a video element so I've been having fun with that lately taking quickie videos of the kids outside playing. I best be sure to pack enough memory cards for our trip as I know I'll be taking lots and lots of pictures, plus videos!

Why is ½ your house being knocked down? Are you remodeling? This is interesting. Just because your schedule may not match any meets does not mean that you can't meet us! And I know you want to meet me!!!

I haven't been there for quite some time and think the kids would get a kick out of being "way underground". So Joyce, meet me there as it's probably the same amount of driving as we have! Y'all want to see what I spent a whole afternoon last week at work doing?

I'm pretty proud of myself! It's a slightly abbreviated picture itinerary for the kids! That way they'll have their own itinerary to look at to know what we're doing each day. I got the idea over on the TGM boards. So if any of you are bored, it's a great way to kill a whole afternoon!

We're knocking down the kitchen, bathroom, living room & dining room. Only the bedrooms are staying up. Then going out all the way around the house & adding a 4th bedroom.

I've been to Howe a long time ago. I should take the kids sometime. I really want to get out to Robert Moses beach more often. We only made it their 2X last summer and had a great time.

Yeah I've been around too long it's EMH which, I might add, we always avoid so it should be interesting.

Why, thank you! The one I made for me is a Word table too. It has much more info on it! My family always makes fun of my itineraries. I don't see what's so funny about being organized!
