Yippppppppeeeeeeee,

Were going on a cruise! It will be our last night though:sad1:

Question for you all.... Have you ever been to England ....... and not the one in Epcot

Of course we had the Walton's and good night Mary Ellen!

We are watching the Dallas re runs at the moment, we have watched them once before.. not the first time round though I was too young if I was even born! I love it.

I was in England when I was 19 yrs old. I went to go visit my friend. I stayed 3 weeks and LOVED It. I said I wanted to go back one day. I never have :(

Dana wants to see London and Paris BIG TIME. I'm not sure I'm up for a
"European Adventure" any further than Epcot!! :lmao: Overseas travel still makes me nervous. I think it is because we were a little TOO CLOSE to what happened on 9/11. Too many memories. :sad1:

What I liked about my England trip was that I was staying at somebodys home. My friend lived about 3 hrs or so away from London. So although we did a lot of tours and such, I got to also experience day to day life in a real England town. I remember my first morning waking up there. My friend had the window opened in the bedroom. I heard birds chirping, and I was like "I am cant believe I am in England". It was such a sureal moment.I guess part of it was that I was only 19 and so far away from home. That is when I was living in the Chicago area.

We are going to have so much fun!! It's your last night but what better way to end a wonderful vacation?!?!

Ours is the 16th June 3 years

I hope you have a great anniversary in the Happiest Place on Earth!!

Question for you all.... Have you ever been to England ....... and not the one in Epcot

I've never been out of the country...I hope to someday though.

Congrats! We just had our 13th on 2/12. (But it feels like MUCH longer! :rotfl2: )

Congrats on your 13th! Next week will be the 21st anniversary of our 1st date and 18 years since he gave me my engagement ring...we started dating the last week of high school, got engaged in college and got married a month after graduation...so ours has been a long time but hopefully it will be MUCH longer!!

Ok Girls & Rags, now that I have booked a Wishes cruise, I don't want to start a debate but I have a question (we are such a fun group I don't think it would turn into a debate but I did want to put that in there)...Should we tip the driver of the boat? If so about how much should we tip? Thanks!!

My first thought was no because you have to pay SO MUCH for the cruise in the first place. However, I guess the boat captain doesn't really make that much, so maybe you should. Same as tipping the driver of a carriage or taxi, I guess. $5 maybe? :confused3 I am obviously pretty ignorant about that kind of thing!

I haven't done the cruises but I know I've read on the boards that the driver is always tipped. How much is the cruise?

Yes, we are cruising with Wendy (MAGGIED) that night! I think ours leaves from the GF, though. Maybe our boats will be parked next to each other so we can all say hello!

BTW, I'm pretty sure we still have 2 spots available on our cruise if there's anyone interested in joining us!

This is my little son Rufus!
Funny...he doesn't look like you....;)

DD just told me DM stands for Disney Master:worship:
She is brilliant! :lmao:

Oh look... it's DM and Tucker in an smackdown! Hate to tell ya sista, but he is like a little vulture... he just keeps picking at ya til you finally cave! Actually, the main way I can get to him right now is to take $1 from his Disney money whenever he isn't listening. Works nicely, because he has to do extra chores to earn it back!
Okay, now where did you get DM and Tucker from? I never thought I'd have to showdown someone's kid!

Do you brown your meat separately, DM? I have to do that and then drain it really well before I add it back to the "gravy" (we Italians call it gravy, not sauce. :goodvibes )
Sometimes it has that effect on me, too. Hope you are feeling better.:sad1:
I totally sear the beef (chuck roast) first. I used to do it in a separate pan but then Rob's Grandma Yolanda (God bless has now passed) told me that the grease is what makes the taste. Great, huh? I couldn't argue with her since it was her recipe I took. She used to make the tiniest meatballs then dump all the grease in her sauce. :confused3 Everyone loved it though. I don't do that and I don't use as much salt as she used to. My stomach has been bothering me for the past couple of days anyway so the meat/sauce (yes, Rob's Italian family called it sauce) combo didn't help.

I can't make up my mind what I want to do. I keep thinking about a Disney cruise, a week in Florida (beach house a few days, Cape Canaveral, Sea World, Busch Gardens), or an all-inclusive resort somewhere... Cozumel and Grand Caymen are in the lead! I just know I want to do other things besides Disney for a year or two, then go back.
Want to meet in Cape Canaveral next year? Beach vacation baaaaaaby!!!!

I have never been to England. Only Canada, Mexico, Bermuda. But, if you are willing to let us stay with you, we will be happy to come and visit!

We went on an Illuminations Cruise back in 2003. The cost was about $130. We tipped our captain $20 because he was a lot of fun.
