Courtney: Yes - it sounds like it's time for a new colorist! :goodvibes I have highlights in mine - once I turned 40 I didn't like those little grays peeking through my dark brunette! For now, the highlighting is covering the stray grays... !

DM: Have fun at the movies! Make sure Brooke gets a booster - that was the one thing I didn't like about the movies as a kid - I couldn't SEE! lol

Kari: How old is your sister? That is heartbreaking. I will pray for her and your entire family. How beautiful to give the little ones a "happy memory".
((hugs))

My sister is 43, and her kids are 18 through 4 years old. I would love to take full credit for her trip, but my brothers and mom split it with me. Since I am at home during the day, most of the planning and communication with Disney was done by me. Thanks for the prayers... we never turn them down!

I gave up on trying to hide the gray years ago! I started getting gray when I was 15. I would have to do a lot to hide them, and so I just let them go.

Kari- I did post a recent picture Easter weekend when I was holding the crawfish.... But I'll have to take some more soon--- I just got my hair done and right now it's black... Right, black. Wasn't supposed to be, but I do see it gradually fading a bit. I wanted it chocolate brown. What I got was black... Argggggg.... So, next time I whip the camera out, I'll post a pic here.

Courtney, I got your chocolate brown - this weekend was time to color again, I do it myself and usually use Dark Blonde which on me is light brown. Well DH & DD wanted me to get something with red in it so I gave in and got medium reddish brown...it turned black too!! The only thing that even had a hint of red was my roots that are gray. So Saturday morning I went to the store and got medium ash blonde hoping to drastically lighten it...it's still dark but not black it is really chocolate brown. Next time I'm not going to listen to them and I'm going to do it dark blonde again because that's what will be in the Disney pictures...yay, the trip is getting close!!

Oh, and Courtney, you need to get your act together and get the color worked out and back to the color of hair that you have in your siggie, cuz my son is autistic and he doesn't deal with change well AT ALL! :scared1:

:wave:Yes, Welcome and spend a few days catching up reading this whole thread so you can know what you are getting into! :rotfl2:

I may not get a chance to post a picture until after we get back from DC but it's not too different from the pic that I posted from our WDW trip last January. Just after that trip I started dyeing it lighter. I'll definitley post a pic or 2 from our trip next weekend!

Speaking of our DC trip we got trip t-shirts today & one of them is lime green...I told DH that I can even be a Diser in DC :rotfl:

You guys are so nutty! Ds has lime green sandals and dd has a lime green hat (they got to choose, that's what they chose). Oh and I have LGMHs. That's about it for now. I'll have to see about scoping out some LG shirts or something.

We are a crazy bunch, that's for sure!! Disneyshopping.com has some really cute lime green Disney shirts...they have Mickey, Goofy, Donald & Pluto looking out a Mickey head shaped window looking thing. I got some for us...youngest DD & I have lime green and DH & oldest DD have yellow ones...I knew DH would be more open to our matching shirts if they weren't all the same color :goodvibes

Hi There. I hope you guys don't mind that I've been stalking you. :) We have been awaiting confirmation for my DS' Make A Wish trip and it came tonight. We will be arriving June 24 and leaving on June 30th. I have been tentatively planning for weeks but am now trying to get a clearer picture. We don't know where we will be staying but will be traveling with my dh, ds 4(5) and dd 3. The only thing that I have been pretty set on schedule-wise is that I want to be at MK on June 25th first thing in the morning as this is ds' birthday and he is a Peter Pan freak so I am sure we will be riding the PP ride endlessly.

I just noticed that your DS & my oldest DD share the same birthday!!

Neat! Where are you celebrating her b-day? Hmmm. I guess I could go and look on the first page, huh?

Thanks for the tip on the shirts. I'll go take a peek.

We will be going to LeCellier for her birthday...the last time we were there she was 9 so still on the kid's menu and she keeps saying that the next time we go she will be an adult and get a NY strip like DH. Our youngest DD's b'day is 7/2 so we are taking them as a surprise for their birthdays. It has been so hard keeping the trip from them!!! Since we are leaving on 7/1 we will be celebrating youngest DD's b'day at dinner at 1900 Park Fare on Thursday 6/28.

I know your DS will enjoy MK on his birthday!!

I just wanted to say a quick hello to everyone. I have been really busy, so I haven't had a chance to catch up on everyones posts, but I will this weekend. I do have some exciting news. My mom and brother (age 9) have decided to join us for three days. I am so excited. I have been wanting them to come for so long. I had to spend a lot of time on the phone today making their reservations and ADR to match ours. They have never been to WDW so they are really excited.

That's wonderful! I'm sure they will have the time of their lives!

That's great Tnmomof four. Found out that DH's sister will be going down with us with her family. Our DD are four months apart in age and our DS are four months apart in age. She will also be taking her 17 month old DS(maybe)and DH nephew. :woohoo: 53 more days:woohoo:

LizA--- Have a great DC trip! can't wait to see pictures!

TN Mom- YAY!!! That's awesome! I bet you are so excited! That just makes you look even more forward to being in the happiest place on earth!!!

have a question to run by everyone.
I have been planning a surprise Mother's Day for my mother-in-law since Nov of last year. Between my motherinlaw and fatherinlaw they have 7 children.
All but two said that they would come. One wouldn't come and One had to check to see if he could take time off from his training, still haven't heard back from him. Well got word last week that two of the ones that could make it aren't coming now. Now the three that are coming are my fatherinlaws children (Dh, brotherinlaw that lives with them and sisterinlaw coming to WDW with us) The our four are my motherinlaws children and they aren't coming.
How would you feel .
I'm very dissapointed in them,(was highly mad for about four days) and highly dissapointed for my motherinlaw because none of her children are coming down.
Oh, yes the way I was told wasn't very nice either. They used one of DH many Nephew's to tell DH on runescape that none of them were coming.
I sent a not so nice emailing how I felt at the time and haven't talk to them since.
My motherinlaw is a great mother. She is taking care of my brotherinlaw who is in a wheelchair and has limited moblilty and has been this way for 14 yrs. I go over and work 5 hs a day so she can get out and run errands, but she has no other help, except fatherinlaw.
