My cousin's son is a freshmen at Va Tech - thank God he called his mother to tell her he was ok - in the middle of lockdown in Chemistry Class. How scary!

I can't bring myself to watch AI this year - I don't like any of them! And DD and I were such devoted watchers in past years. I was really disappointed this time around...

Yes, it definitely looked like he was about to cry. When he mentioned that he was from VA I wondered if he knew anyone who goes to school at VT. It is such a sad thing...

AI really kinda sucked tonight. The only people who were good are Phil, Jordin and Melinda. The rest of 'em - blah!

I'll admit I'm a Sanjaya fan. (Yes, I'm prepared to be picked on mercilessly) I realize he's not the best (and tonight he really sucked) but I still like him. And I really feel sorry for him. He's just a 17 year old kid and he's got the entire country making fun of him constantly.

We're really not as into AI as much as we have been in the past...we haven't even voted once this time!! Now the seasons with our hometown boys...Ruben, Bo & Taylor we voted constantly...we had landlines and cells going pretty much non-stop for 2 hours...couldn't get in a lot though. DD thinks Sanjaya is cute...
