Wow, I missed alot. (busy day in the afternoon at work and too tired to go on the computer when I got home)

Anyway- I am a GF snob!:snooty: Not really, I told Scilla this is the first and last time we will ever stay there, unless of course I win powerball!:rotfl:

We are NOT early risers- I actually changed my CRT breakfast ressie from 8:45 to 9:40 just to get extra sleep!:coffee:

Welcome to all that have joined us- I think I am going to need to make a binder with everyones picture to study on the plane ride down :teacher:

Yes, they do give me great memories... but I never thought I'd post THOSE pics anywhere!:rotfl:
Hey...I posted my younger son, Alec, in his nose-picking glory at the 50s Prime Time! I'm sure all parents have some sort of pictures of their kids that are "not so great" but give us great memories later....

Well I'm back after losing internet last night. Everything is okay here in my neck of the woods.

Okay...here's another "great pic" of my older son on KS. He is seated next to my dad... This pic just makes a mommy proud! ::yes::

Did your internet go down due to the bad storms from last night that swept through? I was watching the Weather Channel and heard about the tornado watches for Memphis.

tnmom - hope you're okay too...

Avery in all her glory! Can you tell what she does 24/7?

We lost cable last night in the standard channels, but not the digital ones, or road runner. It was the oddest thing. No rain, just some low thunder and lightening.

Ah yes...we can certainly be proud! I'm off to the mall now. Be back on later and hope there is lots to read!!!popcorn::

Are you from TN also? I can't remember where everyone is from unless you put it in your profile....:rolleyes1

karibritt01 and Disneyolic - your pictures are cracking me up! :rotfl2:

I try to make my family get up early, but it's a struggle. They usually won't listen to me. But I'm determined this trip! We usually go at off-peak times so I think it'll be especially important this trip to get up early.

Here's a "more better" picture of my family for your stalking pleasure:

DARN! You're better at the guilt than my mom! :lmao: I updated my profile.

We had severe storms, but not tornados.

MagicAddict... love the pic. Your daughter is gorgeous!

Yeah it was cause of the storms. i don't think TNmom got hid bad. She's towards the top part of the state.

You guys are so chatting at night;)

I hope to be able to meet up with some of you.

Question of the day:
Are you early birds or night owls??

.

Last June, we weren't out with the early birds - mainly because as the vacation went on, we really fell in love with the "Heavenly Beds" at the Dolphin! They are SO COMFORTABLE!!! :cloud9: We paced ourselves, although one day we truly overdid it and were dragging as we were leaving the late hours at MGM. I felt physically ill with exhaustion. That's why, this year, we are looking forward to just doing our "favorites", and really relaxing.

I am always sad when I see the harried expressions on some of the parents - "You WILL have a WONDERFUL TIME!!! THERE IS NO CRYING in the HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH!!" and the children overtired and cranky. :sad1:

As for everyday routines - I am a NIGHT OWL - I am never in bed before midnight or later... it's the only time of the day that is "my time"... homework and projects are taken care of - kitchen is "closed" - laundry is folded and put away... I work on my lesson plans, pay bills, chat on the boards, or read. In a "perfect world", I would sleep in until 10am... but that's not going to happen! I am up and out of the house by 7:30 with my DD for school. This year I am only "officially" working 2 days a week (from full time the past 6 years), but I am at school most days - catching up or taking on some other project!

This has got to be one of our favorite Disney World photos... At Dixie Landings, DD was 3 - and EXHAUSTED... Here she is, with a healthy DONUT for breakfast, pacifier still in her mouth from bed, pooh bear nightgown, and Mommy in the background, yelling, "Hurry up, hurry up! Got to catch that bus to go have some more FUN!!!"

AWWWW! Too precious! :cutie: I have a great one of the kids snuggled up and sound asleep, but took it with the "real camera". Guess I could try DM's trick of a pic of a pic...:rolleyes1

kari - This was a "real camera" photo... I just scanned it. Matter of fact, I've scanned over 40 photos in the past two days... my dd 8th grade graduation ceremony includes a Power Point presentation of photos "through the years!" .

Here's one that I included... figured I'd get some "Disney" in there! Where do the years go?!?! :hourglass

We are staying at ASMu, but this is exactly what we do. We sleep in too. My kids do so much better sleeping in and then staying up late. They are night owls too. I can't imagine trying to get them up at 7:00 in the morning or earlier. But then I can't imagine trying to get myself up either! :)

We do exactly the same, were staying at SSR

Well...I don't have a scanner so there! :sad1: Joking. I really don't and don't intend on getting one. Now that I have my digital, I can't justify the cost of a scanner. And the only pics I've really wanted online were the ones that I am doing for my pre-trippie. Oh well...

And...your daughter is adorable. However, the baby picture doesn't count as a "proud mommy" moment according to our last couple of posts. :rotfl2: DH looked at the pic of her in her "tired moment" and said it looks like our daughter and he doesn't put it past me to say what you were saying. :rolleyes1

I try my hardest! ;) Glad to hear all is safe where you are. We have friends who moved down to the Raleigh area last summer. It seems there are a lot of "misplaced" New Yorkers down there. Wish it were me...:guilty:

Thanks! Of course, "adorable daughter" is 10 years older than that picture now! But, she's still a cutie..:hippie:

I LOVE my scanner... I have the hp office jet 7130 "all in one" - it's a fax,(which I've used twice!) printer, scanner, and copier. The "copier" really gets a workout... I use it a lot for school and volunteer work. It also has the ports right in front to slide in the digital camera card to upload the photos. I also have a "HP Photosmart 8250", but it really isn't necessary. DH thought he was doing me a favor and bought it for me for Christmas last year, but the Office Jet does all of that. oh well, "it's the thought that counts"! Didn't have the heart to return it... there are so few things he actually goes out and picks himself.... (I usually circle the jewelry from the catalog and say, "THIS is what I would like for Christmas, Birthday, Mother's Day.......") :goodvibes
