I heard that there is one sitting on a bench that Stitch gets put in next to you.

Liz mentioned Stitch sitting in a hat, I think. That didn't really appeal to me... but sitting on the bench sounds cute! Do you know where they do that one at? I know Tink is by the castle.

I don't know for sure but probably near any bench in the MK. Also, they will do Tink almost anywhere. I read on someone's TR that they did Tink for her at the AK - of all places!

I think the best thing is to ask for a lot of special effects!

It sure is quiet around here today. What's goin' on. I have started packing a little. I went to the store yesterday and they had the packs of snack sized bags of cookies and cheese nips and stuff buy 1 get 1 free so I got a lot of that stuff and put it in our smallest suitcase along with pop tarts and stuff so we have that about done. I'm going to Sams later to see what else I can't live without. I laid out all of our clothes that I plan to take in stacks but haven't actually put them in the suitcase yet. I just wanted to take them out of the rotation so they don't get forgotten. Of course I have way more than I had originally planned to take, but I always chicken out about packing light and end up with twice as much as I told myself I was gonna pack. I just can't stand not having choices, even though I know a lot of things probably won't get worn. Oh well, better safe than sorry.

I was looking at some of my tops and I don't think I have enough sleeveless shirts. That is all I really want to wear down there. But I'm not sure when or if I will get out to buy some more.

Rob needs to go through his things. I have been bugging him about that. I am more worried about him sweating his butt off with the shorts he has. The new style shorts that are out are very heavy with a ton of pockets. I can't see him wearing those in 90+ degree weather. I picked out a very nice plaid white/green  pair of light shorts. I love them. He thought they were dorky at first but he likes them now. I told him that plaid is definitely in now and get over it. As long as he doesn't wear some of his fire department tee shirts, I will be happy.

Normally I only wear t-shirts down there. I know its going to be hot, but I do not wear sleeveless shirts. Its that my arms are fat(Well the rest of me is too)and cant bare to show it. Its bad enough I wear shorts with the size of my legs.
Ineed to get some sleeveless t shirts for my 7 yr old. A lot of clothes in her closet are too small. My 2 1/2 yr old is all set with clothes. I just pulled a bucket of summer clothes out of the attic last weekend. I think my husband has enough clothes. He packs his own stuff. I figure I have the 3 kids to deal with, he can pack and deal with his own stuff ;) I do have to check out the status of my sons shorts though. I honestly dont think he has that many, better do it this weekend, as we are leaving in 8 days:banana:

So is it hot by everyone today???

Here it is 90, suppose to get to 95. Our big pool isnt opened yet(We have a large above ground one)..So I fill up the baby pool for Faith. I put it in the back part of the yard now so the Sun stays on it long. Well I decided to get in with Fatih. Ifigured its 11am, and hot,too hot just for me to sit there on the chair. Well we have a chain link fence on that side of the yard. We were kind of hidden behind the big pool. So here is my big old self in the pool, and the neighbors husband is back there with the lawn mower, and of course he saw me:eek: ..who knew he would be home mowing the lawn. I swear nothing is sacred around here...Oh well.. hope I didnt scare him too much to see me in the baby pool with my daughter;)

I know this may sound weird, but I refuse to wear sleeveless anymore because I need the sleeve to absorb the sweat. Otherwise I smell myself and it grosses me out.:scared:
Chris also has the cargo shorts, but he likes them becasue he can put the cell phone in them and not worry about it falling out. We are really into going bagless into the parks now so we can bypass the bag check lines. We take afternoon breaks so we don't feel the need to lug around much, just camera, and room keys and cell phones, all of which fit in pockets.

Hello everyone! I spent the morning cleaning & packing DD's room. She's such a pack rat and I know I wouldn't be able to get rid of anything if we did it together over the weekend. It looks great now but so empty without all her stuff all over the place. DH & I are now planning to use her room for a living room and the boys room as a bedroom. He needs to stay here the summer so I was trying to come up with something liveable for him.

AFA clothes go I'm not exactly slim myself:rolleyes1 but at Disney I always wear sleeveless and shorts during the day. It's silly but I'll still blowdry my hair & put on some makeup in the am but look awful before lunchtime. Has everyone already been to WDW during the summer? We've gone in May & August. May was hot but not to bad. August, however, is almost unbearable.

A few more days & until I can check the 10day forecast!!!

Ahhh, going bagless into the parks, that is my dream;) Since my youngest is 2 1/2(almost 3)we always take a bag in. She still isnt potty trained, actually has no interest in it what so ever:confused3 . So I have to have diaper and wipes, and suntan lotion, and drinks, and snacks, and a camera, and ponchos....hmmm what else am I forgetting... oh yes, cell phone...We take the stroller, so its not too big of a hassle, everything gets thrown in the big basket...oh yes.. an extra change of clothes for the little one.. as you just never know...

About you and sleeveless shirts.. thats interesting... I am sure I would smell myself as well in the hot sun of DIsney, even with a ton of Deodorant on.

So CK - if you smell anyhow, won't your shirt smell? :rotfl2: Plus have the pit stains!

My arms are flabby and fat but that is not a concern. I would rather cool off and sleeveless is much more comfortable to me. I guess that everyone in the parks is sweating too and there are much more worse looking than I am so I can't worry about it.

I guess I will be more self-conscious about my weight when I meet some of you. But, I gotta get over it.

Amen to that! You will not catch me in a sleeveless shirt - people would be running away in horror! :rotfl:

I've got a problem with bottoms - I don't have anywhere near enough. I've got 2 pairs of denim bermuda shorts and that's about it. I have such a hard time finding stuff that fits and doesn't look horrible, you know?

I've got to go through Antonia's clothes this weekend to make sure she's got enough to get through the trip. I have no idea if she does or not, but I'm guessing she's going to need more shorts. I'm getting so stressed about this trip! It's coming up on me way too fast at this point, and I feel too unorganized to be only 2 weeks out! :scared:

Rob & I went on our honeymoon at the beginning of July and it felt like a waterfall of sweat was pouring down our backs at times. But we got used to it and everyone else was sweating too. Getting splashed on Splash Mountain wasn't so bad when you're that hot.

I too do my hair and makeup. I will only put eyeliner on my top lids as it tends to smear underneath in that humid of weather. Waterproof mascara works like a charm. The only problem is the hair if it gets wet. I will try my hardest to keep it dry, even on Splash Mountain, etc., but bringing a towel on the ride and covering up just as we hit the bottom (gotta have that picture going down;) ). My hair "wings" out with waves or just gets a bit frizzy in the humidity. I never know how it's going to go so I'll be putting on a tiny bit (yea right, loads) of hairspray.

I wear short sleaves, but for some reason, even with deoderant, I seem to smell myself more with sleevelss than with short sleeves. I don't really know why, just something I have noticed. I guess the material absorbs the smell and it doesn't reach my nose as well.

Ok, now that I've read a few of these - go right ahead - you are all going to be talking about my fat arms, but I DON"T CARE - I'm STILL wearing SLEEVELESS!!! :rotfl:

Seriously, I can not STAND the heat - pretty stupid going to Florida in the SUMMER, I know - but I just can't bear to be that hot. I had thyroid cancer, and my "internal thermostat" just doesn't work correctly. I can be DYING of the heat, while everyone around me is as cool as a cucumber. Even today - we just got back from the graduation mass and I couldn't wait to take off the little bolero sweater that went with my spaghetti strap dress! Tonight, at our "elegant dinner party", the sweater GOES. lol (couldn't very well sing at mass on the altar with little spaghetti straps this morning, however. :rolleyes1) It's about 90 degrees today. Hopefully it will cool off for this evening.

I picked up some nice tanks (coverage is good) at Gap. And I was able to pick up three button down sleeveless blouses, light weight cotton at Ann Taylor Petite.

I really and TRULY want to try to "pack light".. I just dont know if it is going to happen. Will start pulling everything out over the weekend, or next week. Still must get the airport to and from transportation reserved.

Off to make sure the graduation gown can do without a pressing! Dana looked lovely this morning - did a reading at mass and was one of the gift bearers. My baby...::sigh::.....

I ususally wear a hat with a pony tail to combat the possibility of wet hair. On me, it is so not pretty.:scared1:

I'm sorry but you're cracking me up here. I hope I don't start thinking about that when we meet up in the AK! I'll probably be giggling and everyone will wondering what I'm giggling about, probably looking dumb. Then I'll start to think that maybe you can smell me and I'll get all paranoid. Oh bother!

We start off the week with a sling full of stuff but after a couple of days it's whatever fits in our cargos. Probably why my poor deprived kids still have the same autograph books from 4 years ago only 1/2 full.

I went to Disney at the beginning of June in 2004 and I remember being absolutely miserably hot, and having sweat constantly dripping down my face. Not fun. So I'm not looking forward to that aspect of the trip.

Hair & makeup? Are you kidding me? :rotfl2: My hair gets pulled back into a ponytail to keep it out of my sweaty face and there's no way I'd put makeup on in that kind of heat!

So when y'all run into me, try not to be too disgusted, ok? :rotfl:
