where we came from

seven of the kids that I had at GrandfatherMt. The other three found their group on the top of the MT and went back to them.

The pictures are so cool.. I love those shots.

I was wondering what a "code" is? I have heard so much about these codes, but I have no idea what they are or what they do. What does a code do for you?

A code is a three letter/digit number that gives you a discount on your package. for example, if you were going in September, to get free dining you would have to mention code "ZHU" when booking

Someone with only 21 posts, posted on the July code watch board to try code I don't think anyone but me took him seriously so I said what the heck & called Disney. Sure enough it was valid & worked. I tried for Polynesian GV and it wasn't available.

A code is 3 wonderful letters that Disney bestows on us. Usually it's never for the dates I need - I finally got lucky.

If you have a package booked it's worth a try.

I doubt there is anything for LVC at Poly. I'll try having my mom call when I go see her for lunch.

Castawaymam... love the pics from Grandfather. Seems you had nicer weather than we did yesterday. It was 66 here yesterday, but cloudy and very windy from the tropical weather system off the coast.

Heads up all...they just closed the thread "June Rates/Codes". I think it was because actual codes were being placed in the posts and that is against the DISboard policy. So please do not post any codes on this thread. We don't want this thread closed down!!!!

Thank you! :grouphug:

DH told me a few days ago that he had a conference in Orlando! Yah! So, we booked into BWV from the 18th - 22nd. DD(7) and I will do the parks during the day and he can join us for dinner.

To bad we won't be there for your meet on the 23rd, but maybe we'll run into some on you earlier in the week. I'll have my LGMH on!

to our thread Tinkbellfan! I'll put you on our first post. If you have anything else to add to it (like ADRs) just let me know! Though I will be just getting in as you are leaving, a lot of other will be there the same time as you. A lot of us are up for DIS meets!

Thanks for adding me to the list. So far our plans are Epcot on the 19th with dinner at Blue Zoo that night. The 20th is our MK day with dinner at Cali grill and the 21st is AK in the morning and dinner in France at Epcot. The morning of the 22nd we'll do MGM until noon and then off to the airport.

DD and I were in WDW in March for a week, so this trip can be not so commando. Staying in a studio at BWV, but hoping to change to BCV. Excited to find your thread and hope to meet up with some other dis'ers.

It sounds like you will have a great time! I love the Epcot resorts. They are so convenient and the setting around Crescent Lake is so beautiful. I'll update your schedule on our first post.

As a side note...I remember going to Mystic, CT, as a teenager with my parents. Being a teenager I was pretty bored with it then but do remember how pretty it was. I would love to go back and revisit it as an adult. Now if I can just get there without my kids being bored...

What a morning!

In case anyone missed it or needs it. I was able to use a code this morning & because of it we're now staying at BWI. I saving about $650. It's called flex-magic you way + dining. The code is good luck.

Whats BWI?

Did she try different categories? I know there are some for around your dates for waterview and RPC.

She said she did, but I will probably call anyway just to confirm. She has been a great TA so far (she moved my room-only ressie to package on the first day available without me asking, e-mail me to let me know the day SW opened up June dates..........)

Would anyone know how best to transfer if they are available? It is under 45 days for me, so I would rather not cancel AAA, also she has been a great TA, and since AAA is going to be the cheapest way for me to go 90% of the time, I don't want to burn any bridges

I called about the unmentionable code, and they told me that it was not available. I asked what makes one available or not, and they said that the computer randomly chooses 1 in 60 calls to allow the code to be used for. Weird.

My AAA agent had told me in the past that she could transfer my package to the code for me if I found one that was a better deal. If you do find one, I would get all info, then have your AAA agent try again with that info. I would not cancel AAA unless you make the other ressie first, though. And keep in mind... you will have to pay in full now for a new ressie, but it could take a bit to get your money back from AAA.

BoardWalk Inn - the part that is not the Villas.

That's interesting. I called twice and, while I could not use the code because there no availability for what I wanted/needed, the code was available for different dates and places...:confused3 In fact, they did have the YC available for my dates but it was only waterview and that would have been too much for us this time even with the code.

Yup...that 45-day mark. You would have to pay a fee for a change at this point. I seriously doubt that you will get that particular code now, but you never know.
