If "you" (not aimed at anyone, a general you) feel someone deserves special public recognition, start a thread about them and do so. I just don't understand a vote on who deserves the most recognition. :confused And -- this has always been my opinion, it's nothing new, I'm not a sore loser or looking to start a debate or hurt anyone's feelings -- I'm just voicing an opinion and concern.

As cute as Thumper is, I don't vote, so you can't buy my vote.

I remember when you found him. It was right around the time Pebbzzss found her opposum. What ever happened to that little guy?

If this post shows up twice, it's not my fault!! I replied once, but it didn't show up...couldn't find the thread??

Anyway...I found Thumper shortly after Pebblz found the possum. When she came back to the boards a little bit ago, I PMed her and asked how the little guy was doing. She said he was fine and was still a member of her family!

I am quite sincere in saying that if it weren't for the help of many DISers, Thumper would not be around today. The encouragement and advice was fantastic when local "experts" wouldn't help at all. I remember happily posting when she had taken 10 ml of formula (not even 1/4 a tsp!!)...then how she was wolfing down 8 - 10 syrienge fulls!! How her first tenative steps became full out hops around the floor....how she loves to torment the kitty cat!!

Again, to all my DIS friends out there, thank you for an experience of a lifetime!!
