I just received word from Tink that the special presenters she's bringing in are on their way, but there was a slight detour as they demanded a fly-by of Sleeping Beauty's Castle!

I know this has already been said a dozen times or so, but WELCOME! It's great to have you pop in and say hello. I couldn't possibly agree more with all the words and thoughts expressed about Eric. He truly has proven himself to be a wonderful guy on here and I have so enjoyed the glimpses of your family that he shares with us. His blog is great, his video was wonderful (your cameo was excellent as well!), and sharing this experience with him has been a pretty cool reward in and of itself.

Thank you for all YOU do to allow him to be the Fleagle we know and love!

Does anyone else think we should start a new thread for the awards tonight? I hope that we don't hit 250 pages before the ceremony is over and the thread is locked.....

I'm thinking that someone needs to start a new thread at about 245 pages and make sure you copy the link from this thread to the next and put it in the first post. We should make sure we hit 250 pages before completely switching over so that this thread gets locked and doesn't confuse anyone. In fact, the last post (or something on the last page) should link to the new thread.

Maybe there's a moderator around to confirm the process? I think the biggest thing is to ensure that both threads link back to each other (old to new and new to old).

Thank you all so much for the kind words. I've had a very good time and you've all made me laugh much more than I have you. (After all, even though I 've got a ton of posts... there are thousands more!

Thanks to Mrs. Fleagle for the kind words too. Nice to talk to you Mrs. Fleagle... you even managed to type without kids interrupting. You got a complete sentence of communication out to me without a "MOMMY" from some small voice in the middle.

Now, I come not to praise Fleagle but to bury him! That's from Julius Ceasar, you know... the Orange Julius.

What I mean is that I hope that our awards tonight will be about celebrating the entries and looking forward to the Top 10 announcement, rather than being sad about who is NOT in the Top 10. After all, those of us who didn't make it from Top 20 to Top 10 all finished tied for 11th.

Those of you that didn't make the Top 20 can celebrate your tie for 21st. Think about THAT... 21st out of 1,300 is really good!

So... on with the show.

I've got PMs with winners from most of you (I think) I will make your certificates, post them on a hidden page in my website and then PM you with the image link.

I'll post a category list with announcement times by 10PM. You should post your announcement at the time prescribed, even if you feel like folks haven't even had time to read the previous ones. We absolutely HAVE to be done by 11:55 PM EST, because we need to be voting by 12:00!

I'm thinking the red really compliments my skin tone too. Red it is!

Make sure you hang around until the end, you'll need to be there for my award. Don't go trying to leave early to beat everyone out of the parking lot tothesizzle. I've got HMF stationed outside the door to detour that kind of action! We've got votin' to do.
