I've been keeping myself pretty busy with work and family stuff these past few days - and I'm really glad I've had the mental diversion! I echo the sentiments of all the other semi-finalists . . . I don't know anything yet.

Dana - glad to have you on board - great video! My wife recently started teaching English to juniors and seniors at a high school north of Pittsburgh so I can certainly appreciate your situation!

In the spirit of perhaps-too-little-too-late, I guess I'll come forward as one of the "unknown 6" (if my math is right, which is never certain, given that I teach English). Long-time lurker, first-time poster.

I hope someone out there has enjoyed it as much as I've enjoyed all of yours! Amidst all the creativity, cutouts, chair surfing, and just plain good fun, I'm flattered to be in such spirited (and Disney-spirited) company.

Of course, at this point, I'm convinced that a certain marketing company has already called everyone who's in the Top 10 and sworn them to secrecy, so I thought I would pass the time as I wait for my rejection email by outing myself and finally posting. I've kept mum because I'm just superstitious enough to fear jinxing things. My even greater fear is that I will let slip even further my already tenuous grasp on real life as I obsess about all things CMO.

But in for a penny, in for a pound. It's great to know you all!

Welcome Dana! Super cool video - congratulations.

As we wait with you for news, funny things happen. This morning my answering machine picked up before I could get to the phone and from another room I heard the words "April" and "calling from Walt Disney World." My heart almost stopped even though I'm not waiting for myself! It was guest services calling about a service issue I had on my last visit. They did award me a complimentary hotel night for my next visit, so know that here on the DIS, we're all winners!

I remember one of the videos (I think it was Mary Kate Connelly or something like that)...she started out as a Fairy Godmother, had animation and in the end turned a little girl into a princess over the bridge in (Canada?). We don't know if she is Top 20 yet but I think Kenny (or someone) said she is really an actress (Star Trek?)... you can tell from her calmness in front of the camera.

I can't find the link...I think Kenny posted it back a few pages but there are so many on here I can't find it.

Hopefully someone else can find it for you...

I figured out my "new" craft for this trip. Last year I created a Disney Activity book for my DD to help her learn about WDW.

This time I'm going to make a Disney ABC book...once again, it will be part learning activities for plane and part scrapbook. So each page will have Disney characters or rides or something to do with Disney World on it and correspond to the letters of the alphabet.

So it'll teach her the alphabet and about Disney -- sounds good?!

I will also leave room so I can add photos later (like a photo of DD and Ariel for "A").

So now I need to start working on my list of letters...I think I will try for more than one Disney thing per letter.

Any/all help is appreciated! Who would like to play along?
