Did anyone else read this and feel a teeny tiny little knot in their stomach like I did?

I feel like any chances of me EVER working for Disney just went down the drain because of my very short stint of sour grapes regarding not being selected.

Oh well......guess my mother was right, if you don't have anything nice to say....

It is no surprise some of the dates have changed. My guess is that Toy Story Mania is still being delayed and that was one he was specifically talking about.

I have never thought about stopping in Casting while at Disneyland - will have to give that a shot!

I just watched this one earlier today, and wondered if she made it...it's good!

Then the news came out, so I looked everywhere for this one to see what her name was.

Haha, I am laughing my head off that Disney has been reading this forum (Do they think we are crazy?). I hope they have found it as entertaining as I have. It has made me laugh and smile numerous times since that sad wednesday when I didn't get the call. Thanks everyone on here for bringing back the fun

And GOOD LUCK to the top 20 who have had their phone interviews recently, I am sure the anticipation of hearing if you will be in the top 10 will be far worse than what we went through waiting to hear about the top 20. Thanks for the update and I can't wait to hear how it turns out.

Wow, this thread jumped over 15 pages between when I hopped on a plane yesterday until checking back in now. fleagle you crack me up and I wish I had been around to join in the fun last night. I think everyone who's posted their video has had their interview (thanks everyone for the good luck wishes before mine today). I wanted to echo that the folks from Disney Destinations and Career Builder were warm, inviting and made the 20 minute 'interview' easy and go smoothly - they even helped schedule around my regular work schedule. (A big help for me as today was filled with plane delays, a mad rush to find an outlet to plug my mobile phone in and a power point presentation I was crafting while on the phone - in hindsight I probably should've held off until a less hectic tomorrow - but I think if I delayed any further my mind would've exploded in anticipation) But I certainly don't envy their job right now as if whittling down the thousand plus videos to twenty wasn't hard enough - now they have to choose ten from just a subset of the most passionate and outgoing fans. Having been through the questions, watching everyone's videos and learning about your personalities through your posts I can definitely imagine and see how all of us could be the perfect CMO. Good luck everyone, I know the ten they choose are going to have a l-o-n-g but fun month getting those votes...

PS: one of the interviewers mentioned reading the Dis on my call as well and if anything I think everyone who posted in this thread certainly has proven themselves as "Disney" material, just look at the passion put behind finding the other candidates or the effort in trying to analyze what demonstrated a 'winning' CMO application, it just shows how important it is to you that Disney find the perfect CMO to share the Disney magic that we all love so much, and I've got to imagine that passion for Disney is job qualification #1...
