Disers, do your adult dog(s) still do this?

I have a lovable, female sassy miniature poodle mix. She's six years old, and STILL chews up things like a puppy would. She chews up a some of my DS's toys. She has her own toys, but every so often on the couch I catch her with a toy that belongs to my DS. Most of it are little figurines. Do your dogs do the same? She's great in every other way ( aside from her little attitude towards some dogs in the neighborhood) and is pretty smart if you don't count the chewing. I got her as a puppy and I fully potty trained her under a week. So, tell me about what your dogs like to chew, if anything.
ETA:Not sure if it matters, but her teeth are perfect. Every time I take her to the vet, I'm told how impressed they are with how well her teeth look.

Our nearly 12 year old dachshund will destroy his toys non-stop. Fortunately, his destruction is generally limited to his dog toys and not other things (mostly :rolleyes1 )

My Shiba Inu is constantly chewing on my DS toys. So many of his little action figure guys are missing hands or feet lol. He’ll also occasion steal a sock or shoe or something to chew too, despite having a million of his own toys, but for some reason he really likes chewing on my kids toys (specifically little action figures/figurine type things). Our Shih tzu however doesn’t chew on anything and totally ignores his own dog toys.

My little rescue never chewed anything but tissues, even as a 3 month old puppy (she’s almost 14). I gave her toys away to my friend’s golden retriever. She does like to chew fabric sometimes so I leave her costumes out, but she won’t chew other fabric like clothing or furniture.

Our doodle-type dog is like 8 maybe... she still destroys toys very quickly. Thankfully that is the only thing she chews. She keeps it limited to her own stuff.

We got our rescue dog at 2 years old she is almost 10 and discovered pretty quickly we can only give her certain toys as she will tear things off. We don’t have kids so don’t have to worry about human toys but am sure she would try to mess with them if we did. My stuffed animals I had kept are where she can’t get to them. She is afraid to go in any bathroom so also no concern of her playing with things there.

We got our dog from a shelter when she was a puppy and she'll be 6 in January. She's a lab/shepherd mix that's a little over 70lbs. She rarely chews just to chew (even if I buy her chew toys), but she will shred the contents of trash cans if she's upset with you. She's very targeted. She only goes for the trash cans of those that left. For example, DD16 and I went out of town last Thursday night. The dog has come to understand that suitcases means someone is leaving. When DH got home from dropping us off at the airport, he found that she'd shredded the contents of the bathroom trash that DD and I tend to share.

I'm not sure how old our one rescue is but she's old enough to have a grey muzzle, but she will destroy any soft stuffed item she can. I've caught her with socks and Christmas decorations so it's perfectly normal. I'll take that over them losing interest from being in pain or just too old to muster the energy.

My current two really aren't big chewers. They like their rawhide bones once or twice a week and chewing sticks in the yard, but don't tear up toys or anything they shouldn't. Our previous two loved to disembowel toys throughout their whole lives (16 and 17 years) and, on a few rare occasions, furniture.

oh yea mom's norfolk terrier had a thing for stuffed animals. Anything that looked like a stuffie was his - decoration or toy he'd want so made sure anything of that nature wasn't in his reach. the other dogs have mostly kept to their toys or lost interest altogether.

Yes, none of my dogs have ever been able to distinguish between their toys and human toys. We always have to be careful putting things away.

My sister's pit bull is 10 and up until last year when the yellow lab my sister had died, he would always destroy dog toys, tear apart blankets, etc. Now, he pretty much ignores the stuff he finds around the house, it's kind of like since he lost his sibling, he doesn't care.
