So I solidified my NKOTB tickets finally! We had purchased tickets to RCMH on 6/19 but it is Bike Week up here (blech) and my NKOTB partner just got a waitressing job at a restaurant that will be BUSY during Bike Week. So then we decided on the Borgata. How can you pass up general admission? Well during conversation we find out my NKOTB buddy is going on vacation that weekend. What?!?! Hershey Park over NKOTB? Whatever! So Foxwoods was our last choice! I kept looking at Ticketmaster and it was saying it was sold out. So to ebay I went! We ended up with tickets in the Orchestra, Row V for less than face value. Not bad! So Friday 5/21 we'll be at Foxwoods.....and maybe for Saturday too if we can get cheap tickets for that night as well....addiction...nah! I'm hoping we'll still be in New England the end of June and DH will come with me to the 6/19 show. It is the last show of the Non-Tour.

In other exciting news our house sold! And we should be closing before June 7!! And for our big news.....we're moving to Florida! I think Shelby had read a thread where I was talking about it! With the baby trouble we figured we'd do something different! We'll buy a cheap house down there and put the rest in savings. I'm applying for teaching jobs like mad, but I'll waitress for a while if necessary! And you'll all get a kick out of this...Even though I'm excited to be 20 mins from Disney do you know how many times NKOTB came to FL...once I think! So my NKOTB pal and I said we'll meet halfway to see them! I know what I will be doing with my vacations...."Hey mom, nice to see ya...thanks for letting me stay with you....gotta run, NKOTB show starts soon."

I know what you mean about the NKOTB thing. My dd brought home a calendar of events for the last month of school. My heart stopped when I saw "kindergarten graduation" listed on June 4th! Luckily it's at 8:15am so Melody and I have plenty of time to get up to Hammond (3 hours away!) for the show that night!

And congrats on the move! I think we all know what you mean about scheduling things around NKOTB. When Kris told me he wanted to go to AC for his bday on 6/19 my first reaction was 'Go to NYC instead. I have tickets a show that night!'

Ahhh...yes.....apparently my friend that has always gone to the concerts with me and KNOWS we have to get there SUPER early on the day of the event since we get GA seats just told me she found out WEEKS ago that her daughter's class trip is that day and she volunteered to go. So, we would normally go at 2 or 2:30. She's telling me that she won't be able to leave her house until at least 4:30....and this time the concert is on Friday night of Memorial Day Weekend in Atlantic City! If we left at 4:30 we wouldn't get there (because of insane holiday weekend traffic) until AT LEAST 5:30. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO pissed right now. I'm annoyed that she didn't bother to tell me when she first found out and I am a bit annoyed that she told them she'd go KNOWING that we had plans.

So, what do I do?? She told me she won't be mad if I take someone else...but seriously?? Is that true? I doubt it! I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO annoyed right now.

And that's if she even gets done with everything on time. Why would she volunteer on that day knowing she already had these tickets??

YAY!!! Another disser at Foxwoods. That is cool. We will all have to meet up. I'll be at both shows at Foxwoods and staying right at MGM Grand. Congratulations on your move to Florida. That is exciting!!!

I don't think we have any cruisers either. But the closeness of the cruise is making me very excited for my NKOTB weekend in Foxwoods. It seems that we have a little mini NKOTB/DIS meet up planned, which will be cool. The first dissers that I have met I honestly am just looking so forward to a weekend away from everything. It's been a long time since my last vacation so I'm pretty stoked about having 4 days away from home.

Shelby, I would suggest taking someone else if she doesn't mind. I don't know if you remember last time (since you were busy seeing the guys in the hallway!) that they gave out wrist bands to the first 200 people or so earlier in the afternoon. (what a mess!) I don't know if they would give you one for her without her being there.
