Thanks, guys. Thankfully I slept great. Now we're getting ready for school. Noah and I will drop Becca off and then head to the Dr. SOOO glad we have that appt!!

The white thing isn't in my throat anymore...I hope that's a good sign! Ewww! It was NASTY!!

I forgot to ask.....does anyone know if Kimberly is going to the party that NKOTB is hosted in Miami Beach???

No, I think she was skipping that because she didn't want to be too tired the next day. :)

Shelby - Everytime we're in the breakroom together, my back is to him. I need to sit at one of the tables facing the door so I can pretend like I'm texting and snap a picture of him when he comes in. Just have to make sure my phone is on silent. I think I might give it away if the camera sound goes off. :lmao: I hope you feel better soon!! Any word on the tickets yet? I know I'm being super annoying but I wanna know where I can find my NKOTB/DIS buddy at the concert! :)

Jenny! That sounds like a PERFECT plan!! Yes, please make sure the sound is off. LOL That would definitely give it away. I think today is the day to try it! :thumbsup2 You're not being annoying, heck I want my tickets!! I just said something this morning to my son about how I'm still waiting for them to call about my tickets! I want to know too!! :)

Went to the Dr and got some meds. I'll be on the mend soon enough!! Noah on the other hand can't go back to school until Monday. (yes, he is heartbroken) It's his allergies/asthma/infection all wrapped into one. He'll be on antibiotics, steroids, allergy meds, nasal spray and nebulizer treatments. :scared1: Crazy, isn't it?!?! No baseball for him for a few days.

I'm going to go get Becca from school, pick up our medicine and NAP! We're also getting Becca's cake today to celebrate her tooth removal. I promised her for years that we would do it so today is the day. I'll take a picture of it to show you since it will have a tooth on it! :lmao:

OK, totally off topic, but I completed my online check-in for SSR this morning! Woo hoo! Now all I have to do is get through this trip, watching Jason and my friends ride stuff like RnRC and Everest without me. I'm the designated bag holder.

Shelby - I'll try! If I get the picture, I'll show you at the concert. Don't wanna post a random pic of him cause god forbid work can track that somehow. :scared:

Aw, Angey, you're still going to have a blast. I'm debating between switching my WL res to OKW. I haven't stayed in either but I like the idea of having the villa for practically the same price.

Thanks, Jenny! I'd love to see the pic, if you get it!!!

Okay, here's Becca's tooth cake to celebrate the fact that her two broken teeth are GONE!!!!!

Cute cake, Shelby! I laughed a bit though ... let's celebrate losing teeth with sugar!!!
Hey, works for me!

Dang, I want cake now!

Thanks, Jenny! I'd love to see the pic, if you get it!!!

Cute cake Shelby! I bet Becca will love it!

Kim made it to Miami......I'm so jealous:headache: But next year I'll be on the cruise, if they have one!!! I'm sure she's going to have an awesome time!

Glad you're going to be on the mend soon. Poor Noah, sounds like he's going to be down for a few days!!! Allergies can be pretty nasty I would imagine especially mixed with asthma and a cold. Poor thing!!! Hope you are all feeling better really soon!

Hey, to all you moms out there ... did you get a quad screening done when you were pregnant? What are your thoughts on it?
My doctor gave us the option for our June visit (16 weeks), but we're not too sure about it. I mean, I read the screenings give MANY false positives (I know a few people who had them) and really, what can it test for that can be corrected? Nothing, right? And then I hear the 20-week anatomical ultrasound detects most of the same things anyway.
We are considering just going with the test that checks for spinal defects, since we will know in advance if a c-section is needed, but it still freaks me out.
We know someone who had the screening and she was told the baby had "severe defects." They went for the ultrasound four weeks later and everything was just fine. It was the longest four weeks of her and her husband's life!

Angey - I didn't do that test. I didn't do it because as you said, they can't change anything even if they find a problem.

I didn't have the quad screenings done. I'm pretty sure I had the spinal thing checked though. The way we looked at is that nothing at that point would cause us to take "deliberate" actions towards the baby. So we thought it best have faith and go with it. (not faith my one year old, just regular ol' faith. ;))

Angey ~ I didn't do it, and you're right, even if something were "wrong" there's really nothing they would/could do, and I knew I'd love her just the same anyway :goodvibes.

Shelby ~ Cute cake! Glad your daughter's dental visit went well! Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks, girls! I would never do anything but let nature take its course on this pregnancy. I can't believe how many people would decide on their baby's fate based on their fear of the child being different or "imperfect." Sad.
I'm reading more and more about people who don't do the screening.

Shelby... cute cake! Looks yummy!!!

Angey... I did the test with the twins, but only so that we could be completely prepared for anything that could go wrong with the delivery since it was already high risk. I did not do the test with my second pregnancy. One of my best friends had a false positive. Worried like crazy about the result only to have completely unrelated delivery complications.

There's half a cake left...who's coming over to have some??

My cousin's wife had a false positive and they also worried like crazy but the little guy arrived several months ago and is just fine! No need for all that extra worry!

I'm so disappointed....My Charlotte show was one of the cancelled ones, and it was the only one i was going to be able to go to this tour....grrr.. :(
