Anyone else suffering from non-cruiser depression tonight?

Not me....but I'm the anti-cruiser. I'd love to be on vacation though!!

I am this morning. I just keep telling myself that being trapped on a ship with a bunch of girls who are drinking and have questionable mental stability is not the way to spend the weekend. HAHAHAHAHA Yeah, it's not working for me.

Angey, we had also decided not to do the screening. I am a big worrier and we knew we wouldn't terminate (well willingly anyway, I didn't actuallyget a choice!). We also know people who have had false positives and turned out to have children with no abnormalities. For us it just wasn't worth me stressing the whole time. Especially since most of the testing they offered at my hospital was odds based, not even a positive or a negative.

So I told DH he had to take me to WDW now. He agreed and I was so excited! Turns out he meant in the fall! Jerk! I'm sad now, not then! He said maybe now I can convince my friend who said she couldn't afford one more NKOTB show to go because she'll feel bad for me. He's terrible!

But I'm trying to get back in the swing of things! We have someone on here cruising? I am so jealous! I can't wait to read that TR! Having been to several concerts like you ladies, I cannot imagine how nuts this cruise will be! Some of those women are crazy! But I'd love to be there. Just couldn't justify that much money for a three day cruise!

Oh and I just looked at my twitter. Either crazy girl blocked me or is not on anymore She was a bit nuts, but so much fun to read!

Really stupid childish confession but I didn't want to listen to their CD for like 4 days! I was too bummed out. But I finally broke down and had to pop it in yesterday on the way home from work and listened to the whole thing

As I was sweeping up cat hair this morning, I thought of Kim checking in for her cruise.

Then I realized, only one week and a day until we leave for WDW! Woo hoo! I already checked us into SSR online too.

I told Jason last night that after reading up on it, it seems the majority opts for the testing. He's still leaning towards doing the test for neural tube defects, but I'll have to read up on the "odds" of those coming back false positive. I would also have to know that is the ONLY way to detect that, in case of needed c-section.

I could use your help this morning, girls. My BFF's mom is getting test results back this morning. They could definitley use a few extra prayers. She has been having severe back pain that has been extending into her arms and legs. They found "clusters" on her spine that they have done further testing on and they are getting the results this morning. Their family is so close and they have had so many health scares in the past couple of years. Sadie is a wreck, cant sleep or eat, going home when ever she can to help out with things around the house since her dad farms and is in the field right now. Thankfully she only lives and hour from her parents so that she can help out. I am hoping and praying that whatever thins is can be treated and that she can get back to normal life. Sadie's mom is an amazing woman and I hate that she has been going through this!

Heather, I'll be praying for sure. Waiting for results is NOT fun at all. It's very stressful, hopefully they will get some good news today. I hope whatever it is can be dealt with easily and quickly!

Thanks girls! I just got a text from her, they are waiting to go in to the Dr's office. She said she thought she was going to throw up because she is so nervous... and unfortunately, she probably will! She doesn't handle nerves well!



On a much lighter note... Kim just tweeted that she is hanging out in the VIP lounge on the ship! They went to the wrong one first and it was the NKOTB lounge! Oops! They booked a suite so they get all the VIP privileges. Did I mention I am SUPER jealous?

To tell you the truth, we stayed at the VWL, both times in Decembers. While we love the villas, that breezeway walk to the main building really stinks when it is cold out! And it was a hike just to get coffee! At least at AKL, the villas are in the building.

We were due up to stay at Kidani in December in a 2-br, but, well, that's not happening. But we're going to swing past and check it out in about a week and a half!

We would have been in the main building for WL, in a woods view. I don't really know why that is more expensive than a villa at AKL but it is. I'm not worried about it being cold cause it'll be late September. Unless I go while there is another cold front. That happened in Nov and I was ticked!
