So is Radio City the big announcement? :confused3 Bummer if that's it.

I'm thrilled about it but that's what I thought when I read it this morning. It only applies to a small part of their fanbase. Next time they make a 'big announcement' they should mention if its for all fans or just fans in a certain area. Hopefully they'll be following it up with more tour dates!

That's what I'm hoping for....MORE tour dates! I'm almost positive they will be coming. I just wish they would announce them already! I SO wish I could go to Radio City Music Hall! As I'm sure most of you have already seen me whining, it's on my Birthday! And I really want to go to New York sometime too because I've never been. I told Doug he should take me for my Birthday. But, that's VERY unlikely. :sad2: Oh well, I'll just hope for the announcement of more tour dates SOON!

I'm back on track eating healthy and exercising today. Why does it have to be so hard???

Never been to NYC? :scared1: I guess I really do take New York for granted. It's so close that I don't even think twice when I have to go there for something. It seems so odd to me that people have never been there before!

Me too! I've been back on since 12/26 and have been losing/gaining the same 2lbs since then. Frustrating!!

I was disappointed with the announcement today. Of course I'd never dare say it on twitter or ning due to the risk of persecution for daring to say something negative! It has nothing to do with being negative or unappreciative and everything to do with ALOT of hype for 1 concert in 1 location.:confused3

It's great for those that can go or fly there but come on. All that teasing? I don't quite get it.

I think they'll tour again. Maybe no as full blown as last year but they aren't giving out those golden keys for nothing are they?

I'm super excited about Radio City but that's because I live so close. I felt for the people who were on the other side of the country lke 'Seriously? That's it?' It wasn't really a huge announcement for all of their fans.

My opinion on Radio City... Radio City is the dream venue. They can't just throw a show together to perform there the way they did for the HOB charity show. It has to be first class. It will cost too much time and money to put together just one show, so I think that will be just one stop on a tour or the kickoff to a tour. Plus, Danny told someone at the last Remember Betty fundraiser that they would be announcing 2010 tour dates in mid January. I bet next week will bring a lot of surprises!

As for Radio City, if we can get tickets, I am going to try to visit my sister then! Was going to plan a trip in the fall, but June sounds great, too!!!

Hope to see you there Heather! I have 5 people that want to go but I'm thinking it may be easier to look for seats separately than all together. It'll be a lot easier to get seats in groups of 2 or 3 then 5. I really hope I get tickets!

So I'm torturing myself by watching youtube vids from Joe's show last night! I'm so mad that I didn't get to buy tix to his show in West Chester, PA tonight. I've always wanted to see a Joe solo show. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

On another note, today is Carson's 3rd birthday!!!

It looks like Joe is awesome! Hello??? LOL Honestly looks like he does a good mix of his solo stuff and NKOTB stuff, old & new.

Speaking of Joe Mac.....I was grocery shopping tonight with my daughter. When I grocery shop I go fast because I really hate grocery shopping.....anyway, Braelynn said mom stop.....listen.....isn't that one of your boys??? The store was playing Stay the Same. I thought it was funny that Braelynn heard it and I didn't. Take lots of pics Jenny and have a great time!!!

Ugh... I hate moving! Still in Iowa, leaving for Texas on Monday now. Anyhoo, if you are on twitter, be sure to follow @americanexpres and enter their NKOTB contest by Monday! Trip to NYC for Radio City show, front row tix and meet the boys!!! Winner is announced on Tuesday.

YEAH! Pics and review please! You've had all day to recover...LOL

She posted pics on Facebook!! Didn't you see them!?!?!? Jordan was there!!!:love:

Hi girls! Erin and Crystal, I got your friend requests through facebook. I can't accept them because for some reason when I access facebook lite at work and click accept, it never goes through so I have to wait until I get home tonight. I was EXHAUSTED yesterday. I've had a cold and Saturday just made it worse. It was totally worth it though. :) Joe was amazing.

We got to the place around 4:30 and there were already people waiting. The doors weren't going to open until 6:30 so we got ready to wait. It was almost 50 out that day so it wasn't too bad..until the sun went down. Then I was shivering and I was sneezing like it was my job. I felt bad for the people around me lol. My sister ran to starbucks to get something to warm us up. The people in line around us were really nice. We made friends with the girls in front of us. They were from Michigan and they were all sisters. More on them later!

They finally started letting us in around 6:45. The place was small and we were pretty close to the stage, off center a bit. The girls that were in front of us had been talking about getting a table upstairs but I said no way, I wanted to be right in front. :rotfl: All of a sudden, my sister's phone goes off and it's a tweet that says, J Train is in the building! Everyone must have gotten it because the crowd was BUZZING. All of a sudden, Mr. Knight walks out and makes his way to a little area off to the side of the stage to view the show. He was on the opposite side and there were so many heads that I didn't get a good shot of him but it was awesome knowing he was there.

Soon after that, the band took the stage. Rob Lewis was one of them! :thumbsup2 The lights dimmed and they started playing the opening riff to 'Here We Go Again' and out walked Mr. Mac in a grey suit and aviators! So adorable that man is, so much charisma. He put on a GREAT show. So much energy, he even did a strip tease for the crowd during one number. :faint: He did a lot of NKOTB songs including Single, Twisted (I was SO sure Jordan would take the stage during that but he didn't, he let Joe have his show to himself), 2 in the Morning, Cover Girl, and of course Please Don't Go Girl. He had an I heart NY shirt and the classic Joey Mac hat on for that one. ;) His last song was 5 Brothers & A Million Sisters. He was FANTASTIC! Loved every minute of it.

During one point of the show, someone handed him a gift bag and it was a jacket someone made him. He said he always wanted a tour sponsored by Waffle House so someone made him a jacket that said that in the front corner and on the back said 'Scattered, Smothered, and Covered' I think. :rotfl: I took a pic of it, it's on my fb. I'll try to get some pictures up here when I have a second.

So my sister and I had talked about going to the after party but weren't sure. We decided to take a walk over that way, it was only about 12 blocks from the venue. The line was huge but...hey those are our friends from the line! They were about 10 people deep and let us cut the line and stand with them. :thumbsup2 We didn't have tickets but they let us in anyway as long as we were willing to pay $25. Sure. SO glad we did. Totally worth it. Joey Mac showed up around 10:30, shortly followed by Jordan Knight! I was so mad because my sister went out to have a smoke and I stayed inside since I wasn't feeling great and she saw Joey getting out of his limo like 3 feet away!!! UGH, so jealous!!!

Anyway, the club was small, only two rooms separated by a glass partition. They were in a little VIP area in the corner but they were clearly visible to everyone and you could get into either room. I stood on a couch to get a picture of Jordan!! My sister was freaking out (she's a Jordan girl!). The DJ started playing the Right Stuff shortly after they came in and he was dancing. The club had a little stage behind the bar and they came out to sing Dirty Dancing and Full Service. Jordan was dancing against the glass and girls behind it were FREAKING out. :rotfl: That man is gorgeous. I got some good shots of the boys when they were up on that stage. They stayed til after midnight and after they left, we left. WE HAD SO MUCH FUN!!!!

I really hope I can get tickets to Radio City because I absolutely cannot wait to see them again!!!
