So this is part of the response I got when I e-mailed the group a bit ago....

"The bunny idea is a way of showing the guys that because of their positive influence to us over the years they have instilled in us the confidence to see ourselves as Playboy bunnies (who are intelligent, sexy, fun, caring decent people BTW – I’ve met a few). "

What? I'm sorry I love the guys as much as the next fan, but their influence in my life certainly doesn't make me feel like a Playboy bunny. Yeesh!!! I'm looking for a new group.

:rotfl2: Wow, I don't know what to even say to that.

Jenny, you decided against Baltimore, right? I can't remember if you decided on Baltimore or Hershey.

She bailed on us Heather....jenny is going to Hershey. :sad1:

How do you bail on us? I mean, we ARE the classiest chicks that will be there!!!!

I'm sorry, I'm sorry! Please forgive me. Hershey was easier for me to pull off with work since it was on a Friday. I'll make it up to you. Summer tour, I'll go to whatever date you want!

:cool1: :cool1:
I just had to come and let all you ladies know: I AM READY!

I have my bags packed and we are dropping the kiddos off at school in the morning and we will be on our way to Shreveport to the NKOTB concert. My BBF is bringing her laptop so I hope to log on after and give all the details and maybe some pictures too.

I am so excited - I am way past ready for this GIRLS trip. We decided what our shirt will say "Girls trip 2009(on back)- Live, Laugh, and Lust NKOTB (on front)"

In just a few more in 24 hours from now they will be on stage, just for me (ha ha).

Have an awesome time! I want a full report!

OK so I have a question for my classy NKOTB friends. I told all of you awhile ago that I have joined a group for my meet and greet. Well we are now two weeks away and most of the group has already gotten ideas together about what they are going to wear and such. So I get an e-mail this morning from the girl that started the group saying that she and three of the other girls have the great idea that we all HAVE to do because they had put so much time and effort into it. So their idea is to wear light pink t-shirts and they have created a mock type playboy bunny head which will go on the front of the tshirt and it will read NKOTB bunny on it. Each person who has chosen the guy to stand with will have a different saying....like Jordan is "Let's get twixted......TOGETHER", and for the frosting on the cake blinking LED bunny ears. Am I the only one who thinks that a bunch of 30 something women walking into meet the guys wearing blinking LED bunny ears is absolutely ridiculous, or am I being stupid? I think the whole thing is crazy. What do you all think.

BTW, I'm not supposed to tell anybody this because it has to be a top notch secret, ya'll are my friends so I know you won't out me. Whatever!!!!!

Say what? Back out. Back out now. :scared:

I love that she had to reference the fact that she's "met a few." :rotfl:

Umm, the first thing I think of when I see chicks posing naked is not "they are confident." It's more like "Someone needs attention!!!" Something is just really raunchy about the Playboy symbol when people are wearing it to be "stylish."

Crystal, you need to show them all up and get a Playboy tattoo with "NKOTB" written in script under it. OR ... go as Hugh Hefner! Don't tell anyone, just show up in some shiny robe. OK, like that is not going to happen, but can you imagine those chick's faces?

I like the Girls Next Door and I like the bunny symbol. But would I do this? Absolutely not. :lmao:

Yes, yes! DO IT! Go as Hugh! :rotfl2:

:lmao: Oh my gosh, the response is a riot!! Definitely find that new group. Sounds like a SCARY bunch!! :scared1:

I need some help....every year we do the Relay For Life (last year I was the event chair) and we need a name. Last year we were Chicky's Champions, named after my Aunt Chicky. My friend Maria has cancer and I'd love to name it after her. I just don't know what! Any ideas? Maria's Marauders? I don't know...any thoughts????

Maddogs, Mobsters (:rotfl: ), Miracle Makers

I saw the new set list. I don't wanna post and spoil it for anybody incase they don't wanna see but it looks like they've changed a couple of things!

Could you PM me with it?? Pretty please???

Maria's Marchers? Mission Maria?

hmmmm...I'll keep thinking too! My little sister (24) was diagnosed with non-curable breast cancer a year ago and when we walk, we are "Team Ali". Good luck in the walk.

I am so sorry to hear about your sister. :grouphug:

Oh, thank you. She's a strong girl and my NKOTB partner :) Living her life like every other 24 year old and her doctors are always giving her good reports. That's all we can ask for right now.

Just read about a bunch of 5* experiences over on the 'other' site. Oh my gosh, I'm a wreck!!

Heather - you may have closer seats than us! Some people were saying they were in the 6th row or 8th row.

I saw some videos of JABBAWOCKEEZ and they look GREAT! (not sure if I spelled that right) I am SOOOOO excited!!!

Ok, so I was just on Twitter checking out posts from the Tulsa concert. Look at this one:

I think Joey just spit on me...sweet glory. :rotfl2:

OMG that just made me laugh out loud! :lmao:

NO WAY! I think it's ridiculous. Although I'm not sure which is worse - this or our concert doing the "****aplooza" mass flashing?

:rotfl2: NKOTB giving enough confidence to be a playboy bunny? OMG, I'm cracking up. Where do these people come from?

You mean just about meeting them or did it not go well?

I seriously still cannot fathom meeting them. Touching them. Talking to them.

Good thing I skipped 5* for Champaign. Maybe I can work my way up to meeting them. :confused3

Anyone wanna give me their 2 cents on something? (I'd never post this outside this thread for fear of getting ripped to shreds!)

Anyway, so my mom and I were thinking of going on a trip with my dd5 sometime soon. We love cruising and were leaning that way. My dh is planning a big motorcycle trip with my dad, uncle, and some buddies. So he is fine with it. He hasn't been on a motorcycle trip in a few years. I'm fine with that. Cool!

He will be staying home with dd1, along with my dad helping taking care of her. She is at an age (almost 18 months) where traveling is really hard with her. She loves her bed, has her routine and does NOT sleep well away from her crib/room. She gets excited when we come home from being gone for a few hours!

Ok, ok, on with the point. So today I find a KILLER deal on a Disney Cruise. We've never been on DCL b/c of the prices. We can definitely swing it. But it's 7 days. I checked on a 4 day one and it's MORE EXPENSIVE then the 7 nights! Anyway, I hadn't planned on being gone for a week. I was thinking about 5 nights. But I feel like this a one heckuva opportunity to finally get to try DCL and I know my dd5 would have so much fun! Just us gals, dressing up, swimming and going to the beach together. Does that make me horrible for leaving dd1 at home with daddy for a week?

I know dh and I went on a 6 night cruise last year just the 2 of us but I guess I'm looking at it differently b/c we didn't take either kiddo. Part of me is like she's 1 it's not like she is forever going to be traumatized b/c she didn't go on this one trip. I know she'd be miserable on the cruise. She wouldn't sleep well, plus being in the sun so much and all the hustle and bustle. Aaahh! I have to make up my mind b/c the cabin on hold expires tomorrow! Also I was kind of wondering about my dd5 being gone from daddy and sis for a full week.

Ohmigosh, am I just overthinking this or what? Any thoughts? :headache: I'm driving myself crazy.

Go! Your baby won't miss it because she'd never remember it anyway!

Karen - GO, GO, GO! This is a wonderful opportunity for you girls. Your older DD deserves the chance to have this experience with you, you younger DD is still pretty small. You'll have chances with your younger DD when she's bigger!! She's so little now she won't know the difference especially since she'll be with her Daddy!! If your DH is okay with it then GO FOR IT!!!!! :thumbsup2 How exciting!!!

And I'm just freaking out at actually touching/speaking to the guys. I don't know how to handle it. I'm going to blush like crazy, I know it!!! :rolleyes1

Karen, I say go for it! It will be agreat opportunity for Daddy to spend some quality time with your youngest!

Karen, DO IT! Your older dd will have the time of her life! (as will you). Once the little one gets older, you can all go together. Don't feel guilty. It will be good for older dd to spend some time with you without having to share attention with her sister. I'm excited for you! When's the cruise?

PS: Can I go too?
