Remember tight-rolled Z Cavaricci's? They were like 80 bucks, and were horribly unflattering to your hip area (like fancy MC Hammer pants). Those were HOT back in middle school!

I remember the super huge bunchy socks and the tight rolled jeans. And for comfort wear, a sweet pair of Umbro shorts also with bunchy socks of course. I think my middle school kept our local Flea Market in business back then with all of the socks we bought.

Good times.

I am going to the Cleveland concert this Friday :woohoo: :woohoo: and on the tickets it s says "no cameras". How strict do you think security will be? I mean come on, do they really think no one will be taking pictures.

Anyone else going to the one in Cleveland?

OK, THAT is hilarious. Don't forget Girbaud!
I used to absolutely adore shopping at Express, mostly because every shirt color they had, there was the exact match in scrunchy socks on the wall behind the registers. I hated PE because we had to wear white socks. I used to always get points docked because I never wanted to change my socks, especially if I was already sporting the K Swiss, Tretorns or LA Gear.

Please, don't make the mistake I did! I always follow rules (at least since I turned 20 anyway) and I left my camera at home.
Well, when I tell you that EVERYONE had a camera, on top of the fact that I was in the 12th frickin row and had an awesome view because in my heels I am an amazon, I was pissed. Luckily, i am going again and am bringing my camera.

So, bring it!

I need some sort of intervention. It's true. Since going to their concert last Saturday I'm absolutely 100% obsessed. My inner 14 year old is out of control. Is there an NKOTB Anonymous? ;)

We got the 4 star VIP tickets for Nov. 7th but I'm wishing I could have gotten 5 star. I don't think my hubby would have been pleased with me purchasing tickets that were that expensive but I just want to meet Jordan. I truly love that man. I loved him way back and I love him even more now.

Have you ever seen his video for Give it To You? He can dance. I'd link to the song but it has some naughty lines in it so I better not. You can find it on YouTube if you want.

I actually downloaded the song AND the video so I have it on my iPhone. :rolleyes1 HOT!!!

:lmao: OMG the memories that just came flooding back to me! There was NOTHING cooler than Z Cavaricci's. They were even above Guess? jeans.

"Give it to you" is filthy and I LOVE it! That is such a hot song. I loved it when it came out, and I kind of forgot about it until he performed it at the show. I loved it, but it would have been better if he sang it with his shirt open. Oh well. A girl can dream.

And yes, I too am full blown obsessed all over again. I can't believe the affect they have on me after all these years! I get to see them two more times and I can't wait!!!!

:lmao: :thumbsup2 I totally agree!! He is the perfect one to sing it too. I love watching him dance, especially in that video. He's got some sizzling moves.

I also agree that I never thought that I would be effected the way that I have been since seeing them in concert. It all came back, all those same feelings. It's so crazy!!

I am counting down until they come back to Atlantic City the day before my b'day. That is going to be one birthday to remember.

I left mine at home after reading that. My sister brought hers, good thing she did, EVERYONE had them. Security didn't care. They said it was allowed. I did see a couple of people asked to put their SLR's away. Something about not being able to have a "professional" camera. As long as you have a point and shoot, I would bring it!

Shelby,
I am going to Mohegan Sun on Nov 8th, which is my birthday weekend (my bday is the 6th). I know it's going to be a bday to remember, too! We are going to have great birthday memories this year! :yay:

We're thinking of going to the show at Mohegan. Section 26, row G....do I want to spend $175 on tickets is the question!

Wait a second.....some tickets for Atlantic City are general admission? Ok so now I have a question....do I spend $175 for seats at Mohegan Sun or $150 for general admission to New Jersey? Someone tell me about the general admission...is it worth it? How early would we have to get there to be up front?

We had GA for the Atlantic City show and we bought tickets that night for the Nov show! (online that is) We LOVED it. The venue only holds 2400 people total!! It's so small so no matter where you are you will see them perfectly! We ended up in the 3rd row for most of it. (started in the fourth row and decided to slowly make our move forward - we ended up in the second row by the end) It was AWESOME!!!!!!! Very close and personal with the band, which is what I like. I mean, I made eye contact with Jordan, smiled and he smiled back. (My inner 14 year old is squealing with delight at the thought) I have two pictures where he's looking directly at me as I took the picture.

The show started at 8pm, we got there at 3pm because we didn't know what to expect. They gave out bracelets and we were numbers 75 and 76. People with bracelets were let in before all GA ticket holders. When they let those of us with bracelets in (they stopped giving them out at a certain time) they didn't do it in numerical order so we ended up being 5th and 6th in line out of all the GA people.

There is a group of VIP tickets and those people get let in before the GA people. But when we got in there were only about 3 rows of people.

We had an absolute BLAST! The show is so HOT. You will LOVE it!!!

Here's a link to my pictures, the very first one shows just how small the venue is!! http://gallery.me.com/smascione#100106

i just keep telling myself that this might be the only tour for them, and that helps justify the fact that overall I am spending like $600.00 on all the shows. Man, that hurts just writing that. But, after seeing how awesome the first one was, I have no regrets about going again. And then again!

No guilt here either. They were too good to NOT see again!!!

I've been thinking about their next tour too, hoping they do one. Thinking of putting a little money away so if (WHEN) it happens I'll have the cash set aside already. That way my hubby won't be unhappy with me. ;)

I am glad that I am not the only one that is completely obsessed with them all over again.

I mean I can't stop listening to their new CD and I love the new songs!

I mean I want everything New Kids. I want to get their old VHS that are now on DVD its crazy. It's all I think about and I am 30 years old!!

How insane but you know what with how our world is today, its nice to go back and feel young again when you really didnt' have any worries.

You said exactly how I feel. I see them in Cleveland on Friday (WOOHOO), but Ive been saying all week that if ever there was a time I needed to feel 16 again that this is it.

My husband is so good about all this too. Last night I was trying to decide what to wear to the concert and asked my husband what earrings were better and he said "I think Joe would like these the best". What a great guy. I also think he is glad I hooked up with my high school New Kids buddies again, because in 1999 the poor guy drove my 6 hours to Chicago to see Joe in concert. I think I still owe him one for that. :lovestruc

I'm totally obsessed!! And I agree, it's all I think about - but I'm 35. My poor kids have heard nothing but New Kids music since Saturday. I keep joking with my DS9 and saying things like, it's okay...just take it 'step by step'. He just smiles and chuckles at me. I'm looking them up on YouTube to see their performances at various concerts. I seriously have a problem!!!

It's true, going to their concert and seeing them made me feel 14 again. It's crazy. My friend and I were so giggly and giddy afterwards it was hilarious.

If you haven't seen them yet and you're already obsessed, wait until you see them. It's just absolutely without a doubt the HOTTEST concert I've ever been to, it's awesome.

Wish I was going on Friday! I'd love to see Jordan perform with his shirt unbuttoned again. :cloud9: I'm counting down until we go again next month!!

I seriously have a problem. I just picked my DD5 up at kindergarten and didn't notice that they had started to let the kids out to their moms. You know why? I was watching Jordan's 'Give it to You' video on my iPhone. :rolleyes1 It was definitely distracting. ;)
