I am sitting in AKLV right now. NICE! I wanted to tell you all I was at the Yacht and Beach Club pool yesterday and they were BLARING "Hanging Tough"!!!!! I jumped up and was like "oooh! oooh! OOOOOH!" and embarrassed the h-e-double hockey sticks out of my husband, my friend and her son. I think they were attempting to ignore me, in hopes of not drawing attention. hehe. But I could not believe it! And all I could think of was how my girls on this thread would appreciate it.
In even cooler news, we had booked ASSports (like a bunch of idiots during Pop Warner) for the two nights prior to our DVC arrival. We were checking in and the manager stepped over because my reservation was flagged ... they bumped us to Yacht Club at the ASSports AP rate. OOOOH YEAH! Oh, it was too great. We were even brought to our new resort via private van. I felt like a VIP. Not so much when our bill showed up this morning and they accidentally charged us an extra $360 per night, but they ended up crediting us.
Yesterday we went to the Christmas Parade taping. WASTE OF TIME! Got there at 7a and left at 10:30a, after only seeing a bunch of teenage dancers make their way down Main Street to line up for the taping. We were speculating who was going to be there that would "make the girls swoon and throw themselves in front of the float" (a hint from our monorail driver). I'm assuming it was NOT Allen Thicke or Regis Philbin. I think it ended up being Zack Ephron, or whatever his name is, but I warned all around me, if it was NKOTB, someone better have had my bail money ready!

Ooooh Disney! Hope you're having fun!! A friend of mine was just there for a few nights before heading out on a cruise! I'm so jealous! I can't wait until our trip next year. Did I tell you we booked for Sept??? Oh and we're not telling the kids until we wake them for the airport!!

Too funny about them playing Hangin' Tough at Disney!! I thought it was funny when they were playing it in Turks and Caicos!!

I'm off to clean. My hubby just got home from getting an injection in his spine! OUCH! He's all drugged up and asleep. Wednesday I go in for my surgery for what they found on my mammogram. (fun week, huh?) Anyway, so I'm off to clean and get rid of some stuff since Christmas is coming! I need to get rid of stuff, this house is out of control!!! Wish me luck!

Oh no! You're a Steelers fan? Now I'm not allowed to talk to you per my dh! Saying Steelers or Pittsburgh is the same as a curse word in our house.
We're die-hard Bengals fans. I don't think I need to explain why I'm writing it so small!

Dh says you guys are gonna get another Ring this season. His prediction - Giants/Steelers in the big game.


Shelby - I know what you mean. Our house is BUSTING at the seams already! And getting another delivery in a couple weeks.

crusierkaren, its ok tell your hubby when I was younger (and still do) I had a MAJOR crush on Boomer! Oh yeah I was in love with a good old Cinn Bengal Boomer, it was anarchary in my family!

i mean a steeler girl in love with a bengal was (and is) a BIG no-no, it didnt bother them so much when he went to the jets, but I still get bengal jabs, no offense~

i thought the year the bengals played the 49ers in the super bowl my family was gonna throw me out!

ahhh I still like watching Boomer on the pre-game shows

Too funny. I tease my dh that Boomer is his "man-crush"! Our dog is named Boomer too.

Our dd5 and my dad love to give us a hard time about the Steelers. My dad got my dd some Steerlers temporary tattoos. She came home with them on after staying the night with them and dh about went nuts!

Last time when the Steelers were in the Superbowl we had a party here. My dad was rooting for them and I swear my dh was wanting to throw him out in the cold! Of course my dad loves to get my dh riled up about it. So yeah I get the "no line crossing" thing. Dh takes it very seriously. We have pictures of dh when he was 2 with Bengals clothes on. So it goes WAY BACK. Dh isn't the disrespectful fan though. Some of the things I saw at Paul Brown Stadium when we played Pitt was awful. We're not "those kinds" of fans.

ETA - no offense taken! Trust me no one could say anything about them that I'm sure hasn't already been said by me and dh!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas ... and I am snowed in! We got a ton of snow last night, ice underneath, so I am stuck at home for the day. So are the kids. Good thing I have a lot of Christmas crafts to keep them occupied. I need to go out and clear the driveway, but it is cold and windy , so I think I will be hiring someone to do it today!!!

Let's play a game to keep me occupied. I will start it in the next post.
