How much time do I need to allow to disembark. I know its 45-1 hour to get to the airport, but could we make a 1:53 flight without killing ourselves or our kids??

I think you should be able to make that flight. Most people get off the ship by 9 so you should be fine.

I'm sure that time is fine. I think our flight was even earlier when we went 3 years ago. I'm pretty sure everyone is off the boat by 9:30 am. We are going in May, so I'm wondering if anyone knows this information recently. Thanks!

We dilly dallied that morning to avoid the crowds (we ate at Topsiders and took our sweet time) and were off the ship -- with no waiting in lines at all -- at 9:03 AM.

We were at the airport by 9:20 this past Saturday for a 12:35 flight. I don't think there are any concerns for a flight after 1:00.

How are you getting to the airport? If via DCL transfers, there may be some delay until a bus is full. If you are renting a car, then you may have some delay waiting for the shuttle, then doing the paperwork.

We had a ride waiting for us, so we were able to be on the way to the airport immediately after disembarking.

No problem - We had an 11:10 flight and made it in plenty of time to stop and Cinnabon and eat and relax before we boarded.

Now I feel better. We have an 11:30 flight home and I was a little nervous. We have FLA Tours meeting us at the port at 8:10 to bring us to the airport so I think we will be okay but it is reassuring to hear that others have made the early times okay!!!

You should be fine. We made a 12:35pm flight just fine. Having said that, it should be noted that getting off the ship isn't always quick. It took us 45 minutes. Once off the ship, finding our bags, clearing immigration, checking our bags in at the port, and boarding the bus took only about 10 minutes.
For some reason it took forever to get off the ship on our cruise. In an ideal world, I think DCL wants everyone off the ship no later than 9. We didn't get off until 9:15, and at the airport I ran into folks who said there was a steady stream of people getting off the ship until 10:15 am, so something was slowing things up that day.
