I'm wondering how long it take to disembark the ship.

I will be staying in a CL stateroom and will likely skip breakfast in dining rooms and either order room service or have a quick bite in the lounge.

What time can you start getting off the ship? How long does it usually take to get your luggage and go through customs, etc?

Thanks!

Doesn't take long to disembark at all. As soon as the ship has cleared customs you may disembark. I would say usually by 7:30 or so.

Your luggage will be color coded so as you come down the escalator to customs it's very easy to spot the area your luggage will be in. Look for the sign with the same color as your tags. Have your documents ready to present to customs and you're out the door in a short period of time. The customs lines generally move quickly.

We always have the buffet breakfast when it opens and leave the ship as soon as we finish. We're generally back home in Orlando between 9:00-9:30.

Have a wonderful cruise.

Room service ends at about 1am the morning you leave the ship, so that will not be an option.

Just FYI...there is no room service on disembarkation day :sad2:

There is (or was) room service in concierge, which OP says they have booked.

Disembarkation is totally dependent on Customs clearing the ship on time. If they do so, the big doors open at 7:30. There is usually a bit of a crowd right at 7:30, but they are off by 7:45. From then on, you walk right off with minimal waiting.

The problem comes when Customs delays the clearance. We've had 2 that didn't clear till after 8:30 and one that was almost 9:15. That is BAD. When that happens, there are LONG lines thru the halls waiting to get off. Since they only allow a limited number in the terminal, there is a CM at the door restricting exit. And people are anxious about flights, getting grumpy, etc. The terminal itself and Customs still goes fairly normally because they hold the guests on the ship. DCL even brought out the characters and some coloring pages on one cruise while we stood and waited.......
