We are starting general planning for our upcoming January 2018 cruise. We took one aboard the Fantasy Feb 2016 and we are all drawing a blank on the following questions.

On disembarkation morning is Cabanas open? We ate in the MDR on our last cruise but wondered if there were other options for us.

Is there a place to "hang out" other than the atrium to let the crowds thin out before disembarking?

What is the latest you can leave ship?

Thanks!

They want everyone off the ship by 9am.

Yes, Cabanas is open.

We got in a very short line at about 8:15. Not much hanging out required.

Cabanas is open. They don't advertise it, but plenty of people find their way there.

We haven't done this on disembarkation day (either skip breakfast or do the dining assignment), is it a continental breakfast? That's what we were told, but didn't go check.

A bit more than a continental breakfast, but more limited than a standard breakfast at Cabanas. We've gone to Cabanas for breakfast on the last morning for our last 3 cruises.

We just disembarked the Wonder yesterday. On the last morning, we went up to Cabanas around 7:40. We were able to walk right in and get food without too much of a crowd. I can't remember all the options, but I know there were scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, and Mickey waffles, plus pastries, donuts, fruit, and cereal.

Otherwise known as the saddest breakfast ever...:sad::sad:

We typically get cereal boxes the day before in Cabanas and order milk from room service the night before and put it in the fridge. Then we just have cereal on our balcony before heading downstairs.

Yep, we now always skip the MDR breakfast and go to Cabanas instead. I like being able to leave my carry ons in the cabin until we come back from Cabanas and then head out. We are always back before 8:00 am (the time they want you out of your cabin).

The MDR times (at least for late seating) requires you to bring your carry ons to the MDR and it is a hassle.
