Disembark straight to a park???

Car rental is the key...and frankly, depending on the size of your party, it might not be THAT much more expensive than a shuttle both ways (plus back to the airport)
So if we rented a car how would that work? Are you suggesting we rent a car at the airport for the whole week and park it near the dock for 4 nights? Wouldn’t that be insanely expensive? I’m open on this, just seems pricy.

Pretty sure there are car rentals available around the port. If you are driving back to stay with family you may not even have to do a one way rental.

Hi all! We leave for our first cruise in 26 days!🥰 I’m wondering if anyone here has ever disembarked at 7:30, done the express walk off, and gone straight to the Magic Kingdom. They open at 9 AM on the day we want to go. Is this feasible? There are four in my party and everyone moves pretty quickly. We will have light luggage, so lockers are my second question. Do they have big lockers? Thanks in advance.
Is there a reason you need to be there by 9am?

Yes. Rent a car at the airport. You want speed, convenience , cheap. Pick 2. You rarely get all 3.

a rental car means never having to wait for an uber or bus.
A rental car is a place you can leave your luggage.
A rental car is the fastest way out of the terminal.
A rental car gives you other options during your stay. You set your schedule.

Parking is $18/night. For a whole lot of convenience and peace of mind. When I go on vacation I like to relax and not worry about how long uber is going to take.

This will be the cheapest luxury on your Disney trip. Every time I try to cut costs here I’ve regretted it.

We are currently doing a Disney Wish/WDW/Utopia of the Seas/back for one night at WDW trip (currently on board Utopia) and I agree. We were very happy to have the rental car parked at the terminal on Monday after getting off the Wish, versus dealing with Uber or a shuttle. We will definitely feel the same coming off Utopia with one last day at WDW on this trip.

This was definitely not the cheapest WDW or cruise vacation we have taken, but paying for the convenience has been well worth it this time.
