So... why don't we organize the changes in plans for Bridgette?

Am i understanding it:confused3..
the BBQ is now switched to Plaza Inn? Same time?

We need a sign up for Late night drink at the Grand, we should call it Theresa's Magicale Send Off. Since she's traveling allllllll the way from Canada!

Melody and Breezy need to be added to my mom's birthday party.

Cheryl and Theresa, I am totally up for a quick trip over to the Vineyard for a glass (or bottle) or two of Magicale. As you have said, Rosa is a nice substitute, but there is nothing like the real thing! Also, did Theresa say that Cheryl actually got to take real Magicale off of Disney property? If so, how did you do it???

I sent my Mom to Napa Rose and they sold it there; they also sell it at the Hearthstone Lounge in the GCH.

I love Magicale! Sorry couldn't resist! If any of you are sneaking away for a glass I hope I can tag along! I had a glass this past weekend and DL. Thanks to Cheryl, Linda and Donna for 'turning me on' to Magicale! It's so yummy!

I looked for it one time at Costco, and they didn't have it. I wonder if it comes and goes there.

As for Rosa, yes, it comes and goes at Costco--in fact I've only found it once. Trader Joe's usually carries it and I've also found it at Total Wine.

And everyone's welcome to hit either the Napa Lounge or the Hearthstone Lounge for a glass of Magicale (or the libation of your choice)! Magicale is definitely cheaper by the bottle! (but not cheap by any means!)

CheryL is the MagicaLe` Especialista!

Where is the Coach outlet in Vegas? I want to go next time I'm there.

Both of our outlet centers in Vegas have Coach outlets (and Primm may have one too). We took Theresa to the one on South Las Vegas Blvd, but I actually prefer the one at the Premium Outlets on Charleston Blvd. I love, love, love the joy of the hunt for a great bargain especially when it's Coach and I have gotten some great deals at both outlets!

I don't know what to do.. we bought our plane tickets for this trip when southwest had a super great fare on.

Now I have 2 giant boxes.. 2 medium and 1 small to bring. That's just the party bags.. so I'm trying to talk my boyfriend into driving us out there. He wants to ship it 2 day UPS..but i'm so afraid they will lose a box then i would be having a fit:scared1:

So most likely He will drive up one day then go home the next. And we will fly home.

Could anyone who has mailed a box to the grand tell me what i need to know to send it. Was there any problem?

Thanks Jane for the info! I love the hunt too and getting a great bargain as the prize!

I have got to get off the computer and go get ready for the airport...I am so behind! Bye!

I got mine at Sam's Club, but they also have it at the Total Wine store here, for .09 more. And one of the guys at TW told me about another brand that's also the same grape, and people like better than Rosa, so I bought that one, too. I haven't had a chance to open them yet to compare. Cheryl, how about I bring out the other brand and you get a bottle of Rosa and we'll compare when I'm there in a couple of weeks! Not that we'll drink both bottles! No WAY!! (yeah, right...)

.......... or you can bring the other bottle in October and we can get one Rosa and one Magicale and do a comparative tasting :woohoo: It would all be in the interests of research, of course :rolleyes1

I prefer the Charleston Blvd. one too--because they have L'Occitane and Ecco.

I can't imagine UPS losing it. I would send it a couple of days early--and put your name, date of arrival and reservation number on a label on it. That's what I do when I ship our clothes via Fed Ex to SSR in Florida and can track the packages, etc.

Of course........:upsidedow

All this Rosa Regale, Magicale and wine talk has me thirsty!:yay:

I bought five bottles of Rosa at BevMo ($19/ea) in spring and DD & I have shared a bottle three times over special occasions so far. I still have two left. Our favorite time was in the jacuzzi at Hojo's. It was a really nice experience. I think the Magicale is better, but at more than twice the price, a special treat.;)

I can't wait to enjoy some with all my Diva friends!princess:

Linda,it's a little early for a drink, honey. Try to hold off your thirst until at least 11:00, and then I'll join you!

Dawn, would your hubby acually drive you out to DLR and then turn around and drive home? Wow, he's a keeper for sure!

Tina... he is a keeper. yes we are seriously talking about that. afterall i'm going to pack his parents lake house they have just sold and mark things for a sale. so i help his parents and he helps mine. family!

Well, I hope I get to meet him, then!

You have a great family, Dawn!

I know, the first trip Dawn made where she met some of the Divas she had her boyfriend with her. I remember someone (probably several people) saying how nice he was and how fun and spunky Dawn is. Some story about "that's how I roll!". I missed that meeting. :guilty: I hope to meet him someday as he sounds like the perfect hubby - you know, one who you can still call "boyfriend" after so many years of marriage.;)...and drive your party favor bags and decorations for your mom's party across the country, just because it is important to YOU!

Oh, and Tina, yes, I must wait to start sipping the bubbly. Sorry to be impatient.

I'll keep my eyes out for you then! Have you decided on costumes? My Dh hasn't dressed up since he was about 5(so he says) and the kids change their minds daily.

I'll keep my eyes out for you and your family too. I've had some ideas for costumes, but nothing definite yet. My DS is willing to wear one, so I am trying to think of something where we can have coordinating ones or at least the same theme. That's great that your DH is willing to wear one too. Will you all do something coordinated? I'm really excited about dressing up. We went to the party at WDW several years ago and I didn't realize that so many adults would be wearing costumes, so I didn't bring one, and wished that I had. So, this time, I'm going to take advantage of this and try to come up with something really fun. What building will you be staying in at Hojo's? We'll be in bldg. 2.

Hey Dawn! Have you thought about just checking the boxes? Whenever we go on vacation, especially at Christmas, we always just pack a big box that we take presents in and then we have a box to pack for the presents we receive when we come home. It doesn't cost any extra, you just have to make sure of the size and weight on the Southwest website.

The name of the 3rd wine is Casa Sant'Orsola Brachetto d'Acqui. It was about $1-2 cheaper than the Rosa.

Don't be so impatient!! (just kidding) See above...^^^^

Hey - we were on page 2!!!!

Are we going to be able to get the first page updated soon, so we can know what's what for October (can you believe it's getting so close )??

Has anyone heard about Fantasmic being up or not in October? I thought I read somewhere it was not going to be running while we're there. If that's the case, we obviously won't be doing the dessert seating ;) Anyone know for sure? I can't remember who posted about it before..................

Oh - and are we keeping the same time for dinner on Saturday, just not the BBQ place (Plaza Inn instead??)??
