I'm BACK! My internet is very sketchy at my new place. Most of the time it's slower than dial-up. The home owners and I are going to try to have my own wireless router installed in my apartment. My fridge is shotty too... I bought a bunch of groceries and they all spoiled a few days later. I'd say the temp in there is upper 40s. Needless to say that between issues on the home front and being the push over for this group project, it's been a fiasco. Katie I added you to Fantasmic!

Glad to see you on here Bridgette. For awhile I thought we may have scared you off during your b-day dinner .

Sorry to hear about your issues and I hope you get them resolved soon.

Haha I am! I just talked to the home owner, Sarice, when she brought me tylenol. I have a sinus infection... bleh. Anyway she said that they have an extra wireless router and that she stopped by the cable company yesterday. She's going to pay them to come out and install it for me. WOOHOO! Seeing as how I have to communicate with my family and friends this way, and play on the boards, and work on establishing my career, internet connection is so important for me!

Sarah..cute cute outfit! You could wear it just add some layers.. add a black t shirt underneath then layer the top over it..and wear a pair of black straight leg jeans and lace up docs..that would work.

Katie.. big hugs..how are you doing girl? I love alice in wonderland too..i was hoping that the movie might be coming out when we go on the girls only trip..wouldn't that be fun to see it at the disneyland theater.

Hi girlie girls

How is everyone doing?

Is anyone making their costume? If so, how is it going?

Today my mother and i went out to get the final things for the party favor bags. Tomorrow afternoon we will work on organizing and packing them up to be shipped the week of the party, to the Grand Californian.

I think it's great that we will have alot of fun celebrating Beth's Birthday and My Mom's.

And then in Febuary we have so many birthdays to celebrate.

You know at work.. we would have One birthday party a year and celebrate everyone's birthday on that day. Everyone would bring one gift and we would put them all on the table with a number on them.. then everyone would draw a number and get their gift. It was alot of fun.
Maybe we might want to do that at next years meet. Have a birthday party night.

Alrighty.. well.. it's so hot here.. i am going to eat watermelon

HI Dawn! No, I am not making my costume. Well, I don't know what my costume is going to be yet. Guess I better get on with that.

I'd make my costume if I had a sewing machine. I have no clue how to sew but I can follow directions really well so if I get a small machine I can find out how to follow a pattern for my measurements. I'll probably buy that polka dot dress or something like it though. It comes in a size 12, and I'm in between a 12 and a 14. I know I could say it's a goal since I'm trying to get healthy but that's destructive behavior because I'll be angry if I do gain weight or stay the same. It's better to buy bigger and tailor to your size.

I am making my mom's costume. I guess I thought I could sew I don't know where i got that idea from It seemed so much easier when it was a plan in my mind.

Bridgette... you are lucky you are good at following details. i see them and go hhmmm... maybe not.

Tina..So you read Fantastimicalicious or whatever might be canceled on this trip? and also on the feb trip? hhmmm.. do we have a back up plan?

I missed out on the late night drink and dessert at Napa Rose last meet.. if there is no Fantasimicadilly then we could try that again, but with appetizers instead of desserts?

Or perhaps just hang out in the lounge of the Grand and have a evening drink together? I bet they have hot chocolate for those who don't like liquer. They have lots of room in there. And some kind of snacky bits with nuts and pretzles and things.

Tina are you going to dress up? You should get your husband to dress up as Billy!

I took a sewing class at the college. It was fun. I made purses and shorts for DBF out of pirate material and a Pooh dress for my niece. Hmm...I think I need to drag out my sewing machine again.
