Is it Halloween yet?? Huh? Huh? Is it??

Ok, so it's not even close, but I am really over this heat. I'm not looking forward to the chaos of school, early mornings and homework with the kids, but summer is getting to be a drag with these temps up near 110!

So it's nice to come here and dream of Autumn, and Halloween. Scents of pumpkin, cinnamon and nutmeg. Those remind me of Fall.

The leaves changing colors. The air becoming cool and crisp.

In Michigan you'd see people start to decorate their yards with scarecrows, pumpkins, hay bales and corn stalks.

I thought I'd post a nice Fall pic to get us all in a "cooler" frame of mind.

Enjoy your summers. Halloween will be here soon enough (102 days), and then it's Disney here we come!

I agree Beth! As much as I am looking forward to D.C. I hate to admit I am almost looking MORE forward to this Dis trip! I can't wait to see all my Diva friends again and meet everyone's family AND I just LOVE Disney at Halloween!!! I think the Halloween party will be SO fun with a big group versus just going alone as a family if that makes sense. Plus last time we didn't dress up and it RAINED!! I am really looking forward to seeing everyone dressed up!

I'm still not sure if we'll be going to the Halloween party. I need to talk to my group. At this point, there will only be 7 of us, but things always change. Can anybody give me a price on it?

I may go to the Elvis Billy show--do they serve something alcoholic other than beer? Or I could just do some juice of some type. I just don't like beer--strange, but true.

I think the ToT party is $32 per ticket with a passholder discount

Dawn, love the Alice pictures. I had seen the advertisment the other day. The movie looks really cool. I have a feeling it might be a bit strange, but so is the story.

Yep, they're not doing the discount for Fridays. There is a discount for other days, just not for that Friday.

Ooh, I hope you can come! It's a regular bar, so they serve everything. I don't like beer, either. But my boyfriend likes Corona. Luckily I have a hubby that doesn't mind purchasing beer for my boyfriend!

The Continental Room is on Santa Fe at Harbor in Fullerton. I don't think it takes more than 10 minutes to get there from Hojos.

Oh Cheryl! I am a totally behind the scenes type person. Last week I was made to use a microphone to tell a group what we would be serving them for lunch, and I did not like it! Now Marty, he would love to do something like that, but he would need me whispering to him from off-camera, telling him what to do. It's the same problem he has with his extreme desire to be a Billy. He can't sing or play an instrument!

But I do love that show, and we met Jeffrey a few weeks ago. He seemed really nice, and even gave Marty his ice cream!

Still haven't decided on a costume.

I have a pirate costume that I've worn the last couple of years when DBF and I went to Body English (club at the Hard Rock in Vegas) for Halloween two years ago and then to San Diego last year but it is not appropriate for disney.

I'm BACK! My internet is very sketchy at my new place. Most of the time it's slower than dial-up. The home owners and I are going to try to have my own wireless router installed in my apartment. My fridge is shotty too... I bought a bunch of groceries and they all spoiled a few days later. I'd say the temp in there is upper 40s. Needless to say that between issues on the home front and being the push over for this group project, it's been a fiasco. Katie I added you to Fantasmic!
