Is it time yet???

I was in Walmart and Target the other day and noticed all the school supplies being put out. Seems like the 4th of July signals the end of summer in retail land and now it's on to the school stuff.

Then as soon as Labor Day is over and most schools are back in session, you guessed it........the Halloween stuff starts making it's way into the stores. Pumpkins, and costumes, and candy, oh my! I can't wait. Only 109 more days until Halloween.

Aw!! Thankyou Kelly!! I'm thinking about taking the train down for this trip. See how that all goes. I hate driving with a passion, especially down in So Cal!!! Anyways, How could I miss this trip? Even though I will barely be getting back from Vegas. I'm trying to justify all this im my mind you know, and it is starting to work! Dave just rolls his eyes at me.

Yeah Beth I am SO ready for it too. Course I have my D.C. trip first and I am really excited for that but I hate to say it but I think I am even MORE excited for October!! Can't wait to see all my Diva friends again and I just LOVE DL at Halloween time. Last time we were there for it was 07 and it rained . So I am really hoping we have better weather this time!! Plus just the thought of doing the party with a whole group of friends sounds SO fun!!

Plus I am so looking forward to your birthday bash and seeing what that bbq is like and enjoying lunch at WCT again and just all of it. Plus it will be a great way to see some gals and get excited for Feb!!

Believe it or not I found a year round Halloween costume shop today and all of the women's costumes were non-Disney friendly. I'd never wear anything like that to begin with. Still searching!

Kel, I have taken the train many a time. I love the train. I have even taken trips across the US with my Mom and sisters. One time to Boston from Sacramento, and another time from Portland to NYC!! We had a blast. And I have gone lots of times to San Fran and Sacramento from here. The only reason why I hesitate about going to Anahiem, is that for most of the trip, I have to take a bus. Yep............the train stops at Bakersfield. THe bus goes from there to LA, and then I hop on the train again to Anaheim. It makes it a little more difficult, but I still think I'd like to give it a go. At least on the Amtrak bus, it is only for Amtrak passengers. No one else is allowed.
