When did you become Canadian?

Columbus Day is Monday. Just know I am willing to support my Canadian brothers by taking every Canadian holiday off as well.

If it makes you feel better, I'll have a turkey sandwich for lunch on Monday.

Columbus Day Weekend, not fake Thanksgiving

Columbus Day? I don't remember Columbus discovering the USA. Talk about a fake holiday.

Columbus Day is Monday. Just know I am willing to support my Canadian brothers by taking every Canadian holiday off as well.

If it makes you feel better, I'll have a turkey sandwich for lunch on Monday.

And in November I will have one for you as well. I will also take the afternoon to watch some football. Isn't that what Thanksgiving is all about?

Yes, that's pretty much it. Everyone eat, find a place on the couch, watch some football and take a nap. Covers most of the day. Then immediately at midnight head to all the stores for black Friday and Christmas shopping!

As far as Columbus Day, not everyone takes it off. My company does at the request of one of the owners. He enjoys the foliage up north and goes up for the weekend. Who am I to complain. I'd take Mondays and Fridays off as holidays if I though I could get away with it.

I'm going back here tonight! Bacon on a stick! Had one last week and it's basically a 2x4 of bacon on a skewer and you get to choose the sauce. I have to say it was beyond yummy. I'll try to remember to take a pic of the actual piece of bacon this time. Last time I was so excited I ate it too fast.
