MOTHER BEVERLY! I had Jasmine's Necklace by the throat, and then lost due to the pick-6 by the Jets defense.

Totally as an aside - did we intend for an interception for a touchdown to be worth so many points? It don't have any quarrel with the award for six points for a touchdown, but the defense gets two points for the INT AND six points for the touchdown. It wouldn't have made a difference in the final outcome of my game - the six points for the TD is what swung the score. 8 points for one play just seems like a lot.

You may have had me by the throat, but admit it, your eyes were just a little bit south of there, weren't they?

Heck, I was as surprised as anyone this morning when I checked the scores. Being down by two points going into Monday night with just my defense left to play and seeing that I eeked out a win.


I think 8 points for a pick 6 is about right. Like Andy said, a receiver gets 1 pt for a catch, 6 for the TD, plus whatever yardage the play covered. Scoring on an INT should count for roughly the same. (And yes, I'd say that even if I lost on a pick 6)

Made some great last minute moves. I got Pierre Thomas which helped, and pending a 40 point performance by Jones-Drew against Ravens Def tonight, I will go 3-0. I also moved up to 2nd in Pick Em league, one game out of first. Of course, I am only one win above a few other teams, but it's still 2nd. If I had been betting real money in Vegas against the spread, I would have lost.

I kept getting frustrated with having Brees and Newton at QB and only playing 1 and when Best went down, I figured I'd make a play for a true #1 RB.

I was lucky enough to get Newton in a two QB league and dumb enough not to start him in Week 1. It's not set-up as a league votes trade so all is good. I wouldn't have gone for Brees as I have Rodgers, so no sour grapes here. I'm just not sold on Jackson or the Bills. If it hadn't been for Harbeson and that .6 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am in similar situation with Brees and Newton. Jamaal Charles went down in week 1, so I am looking to trade one of my QBs for a good RB. But no luck so far...
