I was thinking of a topic that shares a travel agency/agents point of view:

  • Compare today's situation vs. 9/11 - what do they see as parallels and what are the differences? There could be a lot of content on this part of the discussion.
  • Predicted short-term and longer-term impacts.
  • Alternatives for those who had travel plans (insert candle plug here).
  • How do you manage the postponement/cancellations in terms of being prepared for a major ramp-up after the current situation subsides? I feel that cabin fever will be in full-force that could lead to even larger crowds this summer (which could instantly become the "busy" season).

This would be good! Edit the name of the thread to “Travel agents perspective” and see if some respond. I bet they will.
