Discovery Magic Appetizer Question

DH and I will be going to WDW on the Discovery Magic package in December. I was just browsing the menus (again) for the restaurants we'll be eating at, and I was wondering - for your appetizer, can you order something labled as an appetizer for two? I'm not concerned about not having enough food - it sounds like that will not be a problem! But some restaurants have interesting sampler appetizers that would allow us to try more new things. Most of the samplers, or appetizers for two, cost more than the other appetizers. So that got me wondering if we were allowed to order them.

I don't have the answer for you yet. But I will be using Discovery Magic Plan in October. So I can find it out for you and tell you when I get back. Meanwhile, hopefully there is someone out there has been there and done that!

I would think that you could Lovespugs.But, it may be that they allow you to order the appetizer for two, for both of you to share--thus actually ending up being like one appetizer each.

My dilemma regarding appetizers was whether or not my son, age 8, would be able to have an appetizer on this plan.A CM told me that yes he would be able to order appetizers but that he will have to order his entree from the childrens menu if available.
Kind of sounds silly to me though, because in all likelihood, the appetizer will have more food that a childs menu item.

Anyone with experience having kids on the DM plan?
