Discovery Island Carnivale @ Animal Kingdom

Hello everyone! My sister & her family will be joining us in October and she was wanting to participate in DI Carnivale. I looked at times and they are only out through the 1st week in August. Is this a summer thing or will they still have it in October? I know they haven't released times on all attractions and stuff yet, but I'm trying to work on a rough itinerary and didn't know whether to nix that altogether or if it was an option.
