any info about this would be appreciated. especially did you feel like you got what you paid for? and how long is the swim w/the dolphins? thanks:p

We loved Discovery Cove. It was a nice break from theme parks. I think the dolphin swim is about 35-45 minutes. I only wish it was longer, but it was still worth it. It is expensive, but even my husband, who I thought was going to pass out when he saw the cost, thought is was worth it. In fact he thought it was the best day of our trip (maybe because it was a relaxing beach kind of day LOL).

Agree withcrazyme5kids. Imho it was well worth the money. The One suggestion is to get there early and sign up for an early swim time. The early times fill up quickly. When we were there last July we got a heavy and long Thunderstorm in the mid afternoon that just didn't let up. You won't be able to swim if there is Lightning in the area of course. Luckily we had accomplished everything that we wanted to do and were wore out. Also included was a decent lunch and a weeks pass for SeaWorld which we used to visit a few days later. My son and I loved it. It is well worth the money if you are to visit Seaworld also (because admission to SW is included). One thing to remember the water is very cold but once you get in you don't mind. It is worth the swim with the dolphin. The one thing I liked about DC is that it is safe to swim with the dolphins in the controlled atmosphere v. in the open ocean with sharks. We stayed the whole day and it was downcast but we were enjoying ourselves so much we did not care.
