Hi:
I would suggest registering your email on their site. They just had a Christmas promotion that ended on the 22nd. Our price ended up at $199 per person for April vacation which I felt was a deal.

I don't know how often they offer promotions but since signing up my email address in September, I've had two emails with offers. The first offer was for visits this December and the price was fantastic. Too bad we don't live closer!

Not sure when you were going but there was a 199 dolphin swim deal that I got thru facebook for June 7th 2012. I booked it about a month ago? The discount was good up thru around June 10th 2012. That is the lowest I have ever seen it and look every year for one. Tax is extra and there is a voucher for 1 free day at Sea World or Busch or Aquatica included.

Yes just search for them on FB and LIKE THEM. I also signed up for emails from them but got my special from facebook. I don't think they are the best at ending out communication via email. I got an FB promo from them in 2010 for June (which I booked but canceled), never saw one for 2011 and then got one for 2012 from their FB page.

I just went to their FB page & "liked" them but I have no idea how to find the special. Is it just a post they put on their wall awhile back? Was it a code and do you happen to know what it was? Sorry for so many questions, just would love to do it if we could save some $$$!

I went thru my emails and found my receipt. It says I booked with the code EARLYBOOK . I hope it is still valid for you - that was mid November I did it..

I do not know if you are a passholder to any of their parks. We have a Platinum pass for Busch Gardens Williamsburg. We went in December with a Passholder discount. We did not do the dolphins because my son is too young. We got the day pass for $69 each. You had to log in to the passholder sight to see the discount.

We went a few weeks ago to Discovery Cove. In April, American Express was offering (limited) discounted tickets through Daily Getaways with the dolphin swim for $150. We were lucky enough to get two of them, but apparently this is something they offer frequently in early Spring. I found out about it through www.mousesavers.com.

I'm getting married there next December and I purchased ours and all our guests' admissions (non-dolphin swim) for $69 per person. The discount code is passmember2011 but you have to have a 1 or 2 year Sea World annual pass or a Platinum Pass and book by, well, tomorrow (I'm hoping they offer something like this again in 2012 in case we have to invite more people). You don't actually have to show the pass until you get there. We also decided to go another day while we're down there because we had such a good time there. The dolphin swim was fun, but we didn't feel like the extra money spent was really worth it and we'd have just of good of time with the non-dolphin swim. But I'm glad we did it once!

I believe the dolphin swim with the Pass Member discount was $169, but it varies with the date you pick. Also, if you buy the regular pass without the passmember discount (like the one we got through American Express) you get a 14 day free admission to Sea World, Busch Gardens Tampa, or Aquatica. You don't get that with the Passmember discount.

I tried EARLYBOOK but it didn't work. I liked them on Facebook. When you got something from Facebook, did you actually get an email, or did you have to just keep checking their Facebook page to find it?

If you sign up for DC alerts on the DC homepage you might get advanced info. I find this spotty though. I never got the 199 special thru this method just saw it on FB page one day. You can sort of tell it is coming though by their posts. Last month or so they said "watch for special" or something like that and then I did start checking on FB and spotted it that way. 199 istead of 289 I thought was a good deal. I am still not sold on that 199 price. In fact I told DH last night I was tempted to cancel but he seems to really want to do this. DD13 is so so on it. Even at a sale price 600 plus tax I think is a lot. I won't use the Sea World passes just b/c it will be HOT in June and sitting at seaworld shows doesn't appeal to me personally. SO part of me wishes I NEVER saw that FB post!!!
