Does anyone know how far in advance DC open for bookings? Still a long way off for us (April 09) but want to make sure we reserve before all spaces taken. Also is it better value to book with DC directly or one of the ticket companies like ATD?

Bookings are available upto Nov 2009 now, just looked. You will have no problem booking later, Americans don't plan as far in advance as we do, If you don't want to book yet just keep checking twice a week and keep an eye on any of your dates going, once they start booking up get in, they won't all disappear overnight.
I never check prices elswhere, we get discount direct with our Annual Passports.

I was also planning to book DC for April 09, I know that online booking is available, but I was waiting to see what dates they were allocating for the earlybird discount. This year I think they started around the 24 April, so I am hoping that they will be using similar dates for next year.
I did e-mail DC to find out what dates were being allocated for earlybird discount, but no reply as yet.
