Discovery Cove pricing

Just started thinking about a trip next summer to Discovery Cove - never been before. It is logical that rates would be higher during busier seasons but I saw some very high rates for September 8th and 15th of 2012 at $379 each while most of September was more like $229 and $259. So then I started wondering if they price on supply like the airlines and that when there are few spots left the price goes higher? In other words, is it worthwhile to book early?

I did read on mouse savers I believe that prices go up as dates fill up.
