Discovery Cove model for Disney parks?

Given social distancing requirements that may be in effect after a reopening, at least at first...I am wondering if Disney and their competitors will nudge theme parks (slightly? somewhat? a lot?) toward the Discovery Cove model -- less patrons, who pay much more per day, but receive a better experience because the place is much less crowded. Honestly, I would pay a lot more to experience that. I wouldn't be able to go as often, of course, but there is something to be said for quality over quantity.

Yes, I know this would effectively freeze out some lower income people, but hasn't Disney been moving inexorably toward that anyway, in recent years? And how else can you have social distancing in a theme park? The insane crowds packing the parks, before Disney closed up shop, might not be feasible or even possible for the coming year or two.

Just a thought. I welcome your comments.

It's an interesting concept and honestly, right now, I don't think anything is outside the realm of possibilities.

I was also wondering if longer hours could also help. I know in summer the hours are already long but maybe it should be a year round thing, at least for the near future.

Longer hours would space out the crowds, and, in effect, create some social distancing in the parks. At the very least, I would say current hours should be maintained. If Disney cut park hours, that would discourage people from paying the higher prices, as well as "compressing" crowds into fewer park hours. So that would largely defeat the purpose of operating at 25% capacity.
