Discovery Cove - I'm Confused... Please Help!!

Hi,

DBF and I want to go to Discovery Cove when we go to Florida in July, I'm confused about what type of ticket to get...

... and how to buy the tickets, do I book on the DC website and pay in dollars or can we buy the tickets when we get there

I would prefer to buy the tickets before I get there, but is there a way of paying in GBP rather than Dollars?

hi, we were there two years ago, what a treat, we would always tend to buy from scorce..... dc....from there web site. if then there are any probs u can deal with them direct... not that there will be... they run a tight ship and customer service if fab... life changing experiance... we went at 1500hrs till 2100hrs and had a ball.. food was excelent and the dolfins was out of this world. it realy depends what is going to give value for money ref excange rate... any way have a ball enjoy ur trip, enjoy dc..

I have always booked via the DC website, they often have offers on if you book early enough, and I have never had any problems with them (done it 3 times via the website)!

The only way I know to book with £'s would be via a travel agent - I know Virgin sell tickets on their website, and there may be others who do!

Hi Sophie,
You really will need to book before you go, as the park only admits around 1000 guests per day and they generally get pretty booked up, especially during the peak summer season!!
You can either book directly on the DC website or by phone, & pay in dollars by credit/debit card, or try a UK website such as: -

With these you can pay in ££'s but it looks like they need at least 2 months notice. The cheaper ticket includes 14 days admission to EITHER Seaworld OR Busch Gardens, whilst the 'Ultimate Adventure' ticket includes 14 days admission to both + Aquatica. It really depends what tickets you have already & where you want to visit.
Both times we have been we booked direct & paid in $$'s, as it worked out cheaper but that may not be the case now that the exchange rate is so bad!!!

We visited DC for the first time last August.
We booked tickets with Attraction Tickets Direct - booked via their website, paid in £s and received real tickets within 5 days. Very efficient service.

I would advise you to get booked asap - we booked last March for our August trip and we were not able to get our first choice of date.

DC is expensive but worth every penny or cent! It is a fabulous day - the memories of which will remain with you forever.

Get booked up!! You'll have a fab time!

We are flying with Virgin at the end of July and about two months ago I ordered two tickets at £175 each for the Discovery Cove Choice tickets and opted for our annual Seaworld fix as the preferred option.

Virgin were very helpful.

We visitied 2 years ago and booked direct also with DC we booked the full day dolphin swim ticket. Experience was fantastic you will have a great time, food is great and there are plenty of things to do.
