Im waiting for AMEX gift card to arrive to bookpopcorn::. Was told when i called on Sunday you didn't need to pay with AMEX, tried to do so yesterday online with MC/VISA/Discover & none would work. I called & was advised to order gift card if i wanted to use the promo & didn't want to use actual AMEX CC.

I asked a ton of questions when i called for info:guilty:one i thought of afterwards though & really hate to call & bother them again...

if the price drops after i do book (based upon the existing AMEX promo code or another possibly better one) does anybody know if i can switch existing reservation to it without penalty?

fyi, I was told by a supervisor yesterday when discussing the necessary AMEX payment that there's an offer coming out soon for September, along lines of current August one (she said she couldn't discuss the specific details though until it's posted) & it's possible more will be forthcoming before year end:confused3

Just don't want to wait too long for possible new promos & miss getting the day we really want in October.
 
You can cancel without penalty if you are 30 days before your scheduled date. I've done that twice already and then rebooked at a cheaper fare for our trip in December. I first paid $199, then found a code to get to $174 and now I'm at $149 with Amex. I doubt I'll find anything less than $149 but if I do, I'll cancel and rebook again.
 
thanks, we're fast approaching the 30 day mark:banana:but i'll keep my eye on the price.

figure it wouldn't hurt to call them if price drops afterwards & ask:)
