Ok... why can't other airlines work like Southwest?!? Even AFTER you book the flight, if the cost goes down they CREDIT you!?!? Do they CHARGE you to make the change?!?!

I will do everything in my power to only fly SW from now on.. they seem to be the only ones on the traveler's side!

Worth the cost? I look forward to seeing your plans.... I would be curious to know how much from TGM you used to help make your plans for ADRs, park picks, etc....

Ugh.. I wish ours was dropping on Jet Blue for May but it is going up Probably because we fly down on the Friday before Memorial Weekend so no going down but that is GREAT news for you. Lots of credit for your trip in Oct.

Fun purchases Lesley! Great news on the SW savings! I've been looking for our Vegas trip, but so far we still have the lowest rates yet. We have 3 more days of work and we are leaving for our trip! I'll check in with you when I get back - happy planning!

Lesley I called this morning.... I am posting about it on my report, I got through quick, but had to deviate from my plan a ton!

I saw how it went for you, not too bad but I wonder why you had trouble with some, you were right at 90 days, hoping we get ours no problem, we'll see, I get to call this weekend.

Go to love Southwest! Our favorite as well.

Good luck with your final planning, we can book our ADRs this Sunday, setting aside at least an hour to do this, I am a little worried about the new system.

I know, I just love Southwest, not only their rates, ability to change and save money but the FREE bags is awesome too! Plus the pilots and flight attendants crack me up with their jokes/banter, such fun!

I know, you guys are SO lucky to have them right there at your home airport, I highly recommend them, not only for the savings but the FREE BAGS! Yes, I couldn't believe it but they DON'T charge you for the changes AND they credit your account with the savings, too good to be true!!!

You know, for me it definitely has been. I love the tips, the "best day" charts, the forums, etc. I highly recommend it!

Oh, I wish they did too because when DVC opens up in Hawaii in 2011 I'm going to need affordable airfare. Hope I get to make you "sick" but I doubt it.

YES! I truly do. I love his tips, I do swear by his best days. I've followed his touring plans and used the forums for tips on them as well and it has helped me tremendously and I SWEAR we don't wait longer than 10 minutes for rides in the crowds in June using his tips and touring plans. We also have great/less crowded places for parades and shows with great views using his plans too, I could go on and on, I'm a huge TGM fan ; )

Oh, I hope yours go down, just got an email from them today saying most flights 69 or less each way, did you check again today by chance? It's weird because ours went back up, glad I jumped on it when I did.

So I worked VERY HARD on our itinerary and definitely have it done for June, and I think for July too but will still wait to finalize until TGM comes out with July hours. WE GET TO CALL THIS WEEKEND to make our ADR's and as soon as they are officially "booked" I will post my itinerary, so be on the lookout for that!
We also get to call on Sunday to try and switch our October ressie from AKL to Bay Lake Tower, I SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO hope we get Bay Lake Tower, I will be thrilled if we do.

I don't have many tips for FWF, unfortunately. We don't drink, at all, so as far as wine and adult beverages, I got nothin. But, I can say that the sushi in Japan was very good. Watch out for the Wasabi sauce! DH didn't know it was wasabi until he put a HUGE blob of it on his sushi roll. Just go and have fun. The smells around World Showcase are amazing!!
I wish you luck in making your ADRs. I make mine tomorrow.

Lesley, I took your advice, I signed up for TGM -- but now I have a really important question for a TGM expert... have you EVER deviated from his "recommended" days, and gone on one of his "not recommended" days? I have a dilemma with my DH's B-Day being at MK, I have a big special day planned, and we have a CRT ressie on June 18th, BUT TGM says "no" and maybe only in the am and to leave early afternoon... Have you ever made a decision like this based on your experience with TGM?? I have to call tomorrow and might rethink my days based on your suggestions... I look forward to seeing how you have used the plans, b/c we have another trip scheduled in Dec.. So I can't wait to see what you post...
ALSO, I think you were asking about the FWF and the PP replied about it, so here is my note about the FWF... save all your snack credits if you do the DDP. You get awesome use of snack credits at the FWF... $8.00 lobster roll (if you like lobster OMGoodness!), yummy lamb chops, desserts, Chinese, whatever your heart desires, and all are under snack credits and all are $$ ...

I didn't mean to attack your PTR, but it all seemed in line with the conversation, so I hope that is okay...

To Happydog...I also subscribe to TGM every year & I do follow his recommendations but he does give you advice regarding EMH & sometimes I do go against that for our own reasons & everything works out ok. To me if you get there for rope drop & use the fast passes you will do fine. This year we are doing the late night EMH at MK from 11:00 pm to 2:00 am which we have never done & I want to experience that. We have 2 DS's that are 20 & 16 so no problem for them so I will be going against some advice but that is what we want to do.

Thanks! So far, not looking good for BLT the DVC board is posting no availability in a studio for our weekend and I called today for the week before because I was willing to bump it up a week if it meant BLt and it wasn't available. AUGH! Oh well, we're going to Disney right???

To be perfectly honest I do typically abide by his days and have had great luck. Is it a yellow or a red day for that day, if it's yellow, I've done yellow days no problem, if it's red that means EMH for your time you are there and you may want to consider switching days if able. Snack credits for the booths sound awesome, so ALL booth items are snack credits??
