Hi guys, sorry, things continue to be so busy here!
We had a great memorial day. Tim's sister had a huge party and cornhole tournament, Tim ended up getting 2nd in the tournament and winning $75.00 It was a fun weekend. We picked out new bedroom furniture on Monday and Tim spent all day Tuesday tearing apart our room and getting rid of our old stuff. He hauled it all down and disasembeled it himself, AMAZING. THEN he went and picked out paint samples and we picked a color, he spent all day today painting our bedroom, it is such a pretty smokey blue/gray color, very modern looking, I LOVE IT!!! We're sleeping on the pull out couch because we gave our bed away, and we made room for painting, they were supposed to deliver furniture this week, well Tim got a call today that it won't be until NEXT FRIDAY Luckily our mattress and boxspring will be delivered though (it's one of those memory foam mattresses) so we'll have a bed at least. GEEZ!
We took Mickey to his first 1 hour private lesson dog training session tonight, went pretty well - we should have taken him earlier.
Wrapping up school, ONLY 5 MORE DAYS!!!! Excited to go see Wicked June 4th with my sister n' law.
I took out the Disney planning folder over the weekend and wasn't happy when I realized how close some of the meals were together, especially some of the very early dinner times so I called but NO LUCK, not even at the Plaza ( which I don't consider popular) in bumping back any dinner times - bummer!
I heard on the Podcast today that you need to have your picture ID match your ticket exactly at the gate so I was worried because I didn't have a middle initial for Tim or I. I called Southwest and they confirmed that is true but they were granted until October to update their system to accommodate the new regulations and the airports are aware of this - their current reservation system doesn't have a place for middle initials.
I got my budget and itinerary typed up and done, I'll post that soon - so that's a relief. Need to start working on the Iphone templates and to do list- I'll do that when school is out
I spent the other day reading through last years TR, made me SO excited for this years trip - if you haven't read it, the link is below (very tiny you have to look for it) in my signature, I encourage you to read it. It was such a fun trip and I found myself laughing out loud watching some of the videos and encounters we had, can't wait to make more Disney memories this year.
Well, gotta go get some sleep - although on a pull out couch that will be interesting

Haha! Last years TR is what made me actually start commenting on the DIS (it might've even made me join). It was that amazing.
How exciting! New bedroom furniture and new wall colors. Tim sounds like he was on the ball doing all that fun stuff.
And yay for only 5 days left of school. And most importantly, triple yay for Disney in just over 3 weeks. Hopefully something will open up and you guys can switch around your meal times. How lucky you guys are to be going for so long. Have a great last few days at school.

EB and I slept on our new mattress on the floor for a few days after we closed on our house until our actual furniture arrived. Sweet memories!

Regarding ADRs, you might want to just show up a bit late to some of them if you want to push them off. I'm pretty sure they'll honor your ADR time up to one hour after and still seat you.

Hi Lesley! Sorry about sleeping on the pull out couch for so long! BUT getting new furniture is AWESOME!! Too funny but I had the same dilemma with 3 of our dinner ADR'S too! I also called and found NOTHING, so I planned to do just what another poster said and arrive at or 5 minutes past our ADR time and I figured by the time we are seated and actually eat, it won't be too bad Thre was a 4th one too but now that we are going to La Nouba, it works out great that the meal is early! Good Luck wrapping up the end of the school year, I know I can't wait!!

Going so quick for you Lesley.

We have a cocker spaniel called Boo, and we started dog training, but said that we wished we had started earlier as it's really hard going with her at the moment. She is an angel in house and with the children, but when she is out on her leash it is a different story!

Getting caught up on all my subscriptions. We just got back from Disney last night. We had a great week though. Got some Dis meets in so that was nice. Your trip is getting so close!! I just downloaded 530 pics & also our photopass pics. Cannot wait to read about your trip. I enjoy your TR's!! It sounds like your bedroom color is so nice!! Post some pics when it is done. Our bedroom needs painting very badly!! Have not decided on a color yet. We just had new flooring put in in the kitchen & bath so maybe in the fall. Well back to the real world..doing

Mattress arrived Friday and we slept SO good last night, rest of it will be here Friday, can't wait! I'll check out the new thread.

Our mattress arrived yesterday and we slept like babies. I agree about arriving late, we'll just do that too. La Nouba will be awesome, can't wait to hear all about it!
