What are the six classic Disneyland park attractions you visit on the Discover the Magic tour?

We're visiting Christmas week :santa: and I'm trying to make the most of our time...even if it means "paying" to skip some of the lines.

I think it might vary based on the season, but I'm not sure. When I asked the CM at the tour booth she said it was subject to change. I'm considering this for DDs bday trip, she's already said she wants to do the holiday tour too so I'm not sure just yet......

We did the tour before they changed it up a bit after TSI was changed to Pirate's Lair. At that time we did the following:

King Arthur's Carousel
Rafts to TSI
DLRR
Mickey's House

I think they've added PoTC on the tour now as well. Hopefully someone who has been on the tour more recently will be able to answer for sure.

:scratchin Hummm...I was hoping for something a little more exciting like the Matterhorn, PoTC (which you said might be included), Splash Mountain, etc.

Dangermouse, where were the pics in your signature taken? They're beautiful!

Yeah, we were a little disappointed with the attractions involved on the tour. I don't think you'll be knocking out any of the big ones with it, so it might not be worth it if that's what you're aiming for.

The pics are from the West Coast of the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State. :goodvibes

Perhaps the Discover the Magic tour has changed since I took it a couple of years ago but at that time it was more of a character interaction experience. We found it to be a unique and exceptionally entertaining experience with the chance to get up close and personal with several Disney characters while zipping around Disneyland trying to solve a "mystery" of sorts. Along the way, we did get to ride the carousel accompanied by a Disney character (just us and the character). And we did take the raft over to Tom Sawyer Island (more like we commandeered it when we were pretending to be pirates). All in all it was a very magical "tour" indeed.

:)Yes, it has changed in the past couple of years. They added more attractions and removed the character interactions. The only character that you meet now is Mickey at his house. We did this tour last December, and the attractions that we went on were Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, the Disneyland railroad, POTC, King Arthur's Carousel and Mickey's house.
