I then put my statement into a spreadsheet and did a little spreadsheet work pulling out the Apple Pay charges. It took me a while a the first time I did this, but eventually I've gotten the numbers to foot perfectly using a running total. What has changed each time is when they set a cut-off for including the reward in my current statement.

Thanks! It has been a bear for me to reconcile all this. It looks like they didn't go through the transactions in order for me. Maybe I'll stop using the card for a while so I can reconcile the transactions

it gets extra confusing because the 1% will be for everything on that month's statement, but 10% for ApplePay won't be.

My Apple away rewards tracked based on date of transaction and were perfect, as long as I ignored any credits. I assume that the credits for returned items will eventually show up. -- Suzanne

I'm hoping they are going to pay out on the purchases they originally denied payment on as gift cards. If so, by my calculations I should get around 200.00. I'm not counting on it, but that would be a nice surprise.
