Discounts?

If this is in the wrong forum I apologize.

I see everyone talking about discounts, room only or free dining. Anyway, I have assumed we will not be offered any discounts for our trip. We are going during spring break time where the crowd levels are expected to be very high. So, I shouldn't even hope for any discounts correct? Everything is booked and I won't be cancelling anything regardless, but I'm just wondering.

This is the first trip I'm booking myself, without a TA, so I don't want to miss any potential discounts. Is there anywhere I should be looking for, or is this a lost cause because of the time we are going?

There have been discounts offered for March/April the last couple of years, so there is a chance something could come out for your dates. Rumors usually start going around these boards a few weeks before discounts come out, so I would keep an eye open here on the boards for potential deals. Spring isn't a time we usually go so I don't keep up on those discounts, but I would imagine if something was to come out for that time frame that it would probably be around late fall.

I don't know what month you are going, but there are usually "Code Watchers" threads for every month. You should subscribe to that thread. If a code or discount is released for your month, I'm sure someone will post it.

We went during Spring Break in 2010, and received a discount of buy 4 nights and 4 days of park tickets and get 3 nights and 3 days of park tickets free!!!! We went again during Spring Break this year and got free dining. So keep your fingers crossed!!!!!!

Wow! They actually did offer a few different discounts for the time we are staying last year! It gives me the slightest hope. But I'm worried I wouldn't qualify since we are staying in a LM room. I would be willing to change for the right discount though. Thanks soooo much for this link!!!
