DH and I are celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary with a vow renewal at S/D in June. Since the VR is costing as much as a regular wedding, we are trying to get the best rate we can at a resort. And since we checked the 2005 rates for S/D, they are out of the question. I was thinking about getting an AP, but do they always have discounts for APs? I hate to spend the $$ if the discounts are not much better than the online codes, since money will be a bit tighter this year and since this will probably be our last trip to WDW for a few years. Is it worth it to spend the extra $$ on an AP? If we were going more than just this last time (been going every year for the last 12 years and family wants to try other places) I would definately spend the money, but I'm not sure about it in this situation. We really, really want to stay at a deluxe this time around, and if the APs would get us in our budget then I am going to get one. Any opinions?

The answer to your question is that the AP room rate is only available on a limited basis so it is possible that the discount is not available for the dates you want. The good news is that you can book the AP rate without actually having an AP pass. They may or maynot ask you for it when you check in. ::MickeyMo
