Discounts when booking on board

Are they still offering discounts when booking future cruises while on board? If so how much? Anyone know?

$200 shipboard credits for 7 nights. Not sure about the 3/4 nights.

in October, i thought i read on one of the flyers that for a three or four day, you got a hundred dollar shipboard credit.

They are still offering the onboard credit for the 4-day, not sure about the 3-day.

3/4 day cruises are offering $100.00 shipboard credit.

7 day cruises are offering $200.00 shipboard credit.

Depending on what category, you can save up to 1/2 off the original price of a cruise. It seems the lower the category the higher the discount.

FYI: When we rebooked for our next cruise on this year's we were thrilled to receive almost $600 off the brochure price. Well, when we got home I checked the prices on the internet and the price was actually BETTER than the price we booked for. Evidently, the early booking discount is better than the onboard booking credit. Just keep that in mind, you may not want to spend valuable vacation time waiting to speak with the agent on board. But it is nice to be able to pick your room easily and make sure that you get the right seating, etc. with the onboard agent.
