Are there any discounts the week of Thanksgiving going into the first of Dec?

It could be room or free dining. I would love to stay at the Art of Animation, do they normally get discounts.

None are published yet. Thanksgiving week itself is considered a peak week and generally has some of the highest prices of the year. The days around thanksgiving are usually blackout dates for discounts.

AoA has been eligible for some of the discounts, just at a lesser rate and less rooms available for the discount.

Thanksgiving week is always blacked out for discounts. If you want free dining, your best bet would be to check in the Thursday before Thanksgiving, as that's when the FD promo is typically going to end for that time frame. As long as your check in date falls within the promo dates, you can have the FD discount applied to your entire stay up to 14 nights - and that would take you through Thanksgiving and beyond.

The suites at AOA have been included in all discounts since they opened. The standard Little Mermaid rooms have been blacked out for virtually all discounts since they opened and will probably continue to be blacked out for a long time.

I guess I'll just pay rack rate. My kids want to stay there so bad.

Book NOW! It's the most popular resort right now and that is a busy week. The longer you wait the less likely you are to get a room.

I agree. If you know for certain you want those rooms, discount or not, I would book as soon as possible. They haven't had any trouble keeping those standard rooms almost booked solid without discounts and all you have to put down is the minimum $200 deposit to secure the room and that's totally refundable up to 45 days from check in.
